     Humble Ward was the son of William Ward and Mary Grey.¹ He died, in infancy.

     John Ward, 1st Viscount Dudley and Ward of Dudley was born on 6 March 1704. He was the son of William Ward and Mary Grey.¹ He married, firstly, Anna Maria Bourchier, daughter of Charles Bourchier, on 26 December 1723.¹ He married, secondly, Mary Carver, daughter of John Carver, on 1 January 1744/45.¹ He died on 6 May 1774 at age 70.¹
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Newcastle-under-Lyme between 1727 and 1734.¹ He succeeded as the 6th Baron Ward of Birmingham, co. Warwick [E., 1644] on 20 May 1740.¹ He was created 1st Viscount Dudley and Ward of Dudley, co. Worcester [Great Britain] on 21 April 1763.¹

     Reverend William Ward was the son of William Ward and Mary Grey.¹ He married Elizabeth Hawkes, daughter of John Hawkes.¹ He died on 21 July 1758.¹
     He was the Rector at Kingswinford, Staffordshire, England^G.¹ He was the Rector at Himley, Staffordshire, England^G.¹

     Anna Maria Bourchier was the daughter of Charles Bourchier.¹ She married John Ward, 1st Viscount Dudley and Ward of Dudley, son of William Ward and Mary Grey, on 26 December 1723.¹ She died on 12 December 1725.¹
     Her married name became Ward.

     Charles Bourchier lived at Clontarf, County Dublin, Ireland^G.¹

     John Ward, 2nd Viscount Dudley and Ward of Dudley was born on 22 February 1724/25.¹ He was the son of John Ward, 1st Viscount Dudley and Ward of Dudley and Anna Maria Bourchier.¹ He married Mary Fair, daughter of Gamaliel Fair, on 15 July 1788.¹ He died on 10 October 1788 at age 63, without issue.¹
     He graduated from Oriel College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Tory) for Marlborough between 1754 and 1761.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Tory) for Worcester.¹ He succeeded as the 2nd Viscount Dudley and Ward of Dudley, co. Worcester [G.B., 1763] on 6 May 1774.¹ He succeeded as the 7th Baron Ward of Birmingham, co. Warwick [E., 1644] on 6 May 1774.¹ He was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Law (LL.D.) by Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G.¹

     Mary Carver was the daughter of John Carver.¹ She married John Ward, 1st Viscount Dudley and Ward of Dudley, son of William Ward and Mary Grey, on 1 January 1744/45.¹ She died on 31 May 1782.¹
     Her married name became Ward.

     Hon. Humble Ward was born on 11 March 1747.¹ He was the son of John Ward, 1st Viscount Dudley and Ward of Dudley and Mary Carver.¹ He died, in infancy.¹

     William Ward, 3rd Viscount Dudley and Ward of Dudley was born on 21 January 1750.¹ He was the son of John Ward, 1st Viscount Dudley and Ward of Dudley and Mary Carver.¹ He married Julia Bosville, daughter of Godfrey Bosville, on 1 August 1780.¹ He died on 25 April 1823 at age 73.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He was educated at Oriel College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Tory) for Worcester between 1780 and 1788.¹ He succeeded as the 3rd Viscount Dudley and Ward of Dudley, co. Worcester [G.B., 1763] on 10 October 1788.¹ He succeeded as the 8th Baron Ward of Birmingham, co. Warwick [E., 1644] on 10 October 1788.¹
