     Cuthbert Blennerhassett was the son of Edward Blennerhassett.¹
     He matriculated at Queens’ College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, in 1642.¹ He was admitted to Gray’s Inn in 1642.¹

     William Blennerhassett was born in 1652.¹ He was the son of Cuthbert Blennerhassett.¹ He married Frances Musgrave, daughter of Sir Edward Musgrave, 1st Bt., in 1671/72.¹ He died in 1687.¹
     He matriculated at Queen’s College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, in 1668.¹ He held the office of High Sheriff of Cumberland in 1678/79.¹ He lived at Flimby, Maryport, Cumberland, England^G.¹

     Frances Musgrave was the daughter of Sir Edward Musgrave, 1st Bt.¹ She married William Blennerhassett, son of Cuthbert Blennerhassett, in 1671/72.¹
     From 1671/72, her married name became Blennerhassett.¹

     Thomas Moncreiffe is the son of John Moncreiffe, 7th of that Ilk and Beatrix Dundas.¹
     In 1511 he was mutilateed by John Watson.¹

     William Blennerhassett was the son of William Blennerhassett and Frances Musgrave.¹ He married Jane Wyvill, daughter of Timothy Wyvill, on 27 May 1723, with other issue.¹
     He sold Allonby, Maryport, Cumberland, England^G, in 1700.¹ He lived at Flimby, Maryport, Cumberland, England^G.¹

     Jane Wyvill was the daughter of Timothy Wyvill.¹ She married William Blennerhassett, son of William Blennerhassett and Frances Musgrave, on 27 May 1723, with other issue.¹ She died in 1746, aged 49.¹
     From 27 May 1723, her married name became Blennerhassett.¹

     Reverend Wyvill Blennerhassett was the son of William Blennerhassett and Jane Wyvill.¹
     He matriculated at Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G, in 1754.¹

     William Blennerhassett was the son of William Blennerhassett and Jane Wyvill.¹
     He wrote the book Several Propositions, Rules, and Problems … for a Discovery of Longitude.¹ He sold Flimby Hall, Maryport, Cumberland, England^G, to Sir James Lowther, 6th (and last) Baronet, of Whitehaven for £6,450.¹ He wrote the book A scheme for prevention of Robberies, published 1750.¹ He wrote the book A New History of England, published 1751.¹ He wrote the book The Universal and Eternal System, published 1752.¹ He was a practising Attorney at London, England^G.¹
