     Lt.-Col. Rollo Samuel Barrett was born on 28 April 1883 at Whitehill, Chester-le-Street, County Durham, England^G.¹ He was the son of Charles Rollo Barrett and Mary Delmar Barry.¹ He married Freda Ethel Louisa Wilson, daughter of Sir Mathew Amcotts Wilson, 3rd Bt. and Georgina Mary Lee, on 23 November 1915.² He died on 30 June 1963 at age 80.
     He graduated from Gonville and Caius College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Engineers (Territorial Army.)² He fought in the First World War.¹ He was registered as a Member, Institution of Mechanical Engineers (M.I.M.E.)¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Northumberland in 1926.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the 5th Battalion, Royal Engineers.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He was a director of the National Coal Board.¹ He was appointed Fellow, Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (F.R.I.C.S.)¹

     Dulcibella Mary Barrett is the daughter of Charles Rollo Barrett and Mary Delmar Barry.¹ She married Major Humfrey Campbell Stephen.¹
     Her married name became Stephen.¹

     Brenda de Courcy Barrett is the daughter of Charles Rollo Barrett and Mary Delmar Barry.¹ She married Major William Augustus Trasenster.¹
     Her married name became Trasenster.¹

     Lindsay Alfred Barrett was born on 8 July 1891.¹ He was the son of Charles Rollo Barrett and Mary Delmar Barry.¹

     Sally Roberta Jane Barrett was born on 22 September 1971.² She married John Andrew Dudley Pym, son of Reverend Victor Francis Pym and Marigold Ishbel Geraldine Mary Jessamine Harmsworth, on 20 May 2000.¹

     Major William Augustus Trasenster was born in 1890.² He married Brenda de Courcy Barrett, daughter of Charles Rollo Barrett and Mary Delmar Barry.¹ He died in 1949.²
