     From 1671, her married name became Blakeney.¹

     Very Rev. Dudley Persse was born in 1625.³ He was the son of Henry Persse and Elizabeth (?)³ He married Sarah Crofton, daughter of John Crofton and Sarah Maypowder, after 1650.³ He died in 1700.³
     He was educated at St. Patrick’s School, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.³ He matriculated at Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland, on 14 February 1642.³ He was a Commonwealth Preacher in 1651 at St. Michans, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.³ He purchased Spring Garden, County Galway.³ He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland, on 26 January 1661 with a Bachelor of Divinity (B.D.)¹ He held the office of Archdeacon of Tuam between 1662 and 1670.³ He held the office of Dean of Kilmacduagh between 1662 and 1700.³ He held the office of Prebendary of Fenmore, Clonfert between 1662 and 1700.³ He held the office of Prebendary of Taghsaxon between 1663 and 1669.³ On 15 August 1677 he was granted other lands in counties Galway and Roscommon by Letters Patent of King Charles II.³ He lived at Roxborough, County Galway, Ireland^G.¹

     Colonel Robert Blakeney was the son of John Blakeney and Sarah Persse.¹ He married Sarah Ormsby, daughter of Gilbert Ormsby, on 22 June 1702.¹ He died on 5 May 1733.¹
     He held the office of High Sheriff in 1709.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) in 1714.¹ He lived at Castle Blakeney, County Galway, Ireland^G, which burnt in the 1720s.¹ He gained the rank of Colonel in 1720 in the Galway Dragoons.¹ From 1721, Colonel Robert Blakeney held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Athenry.¹ He held the office of High Sheriff in 1729.¹ He lived at Abbert, Monivea, County Galway, Ireland^G, which he leased from the Most Rev.      Captain John Blakeney was the son of John Blakeney and Sarah Persse.¹ He died on 21 May 1749, unmarried, aged 68.¹
     He fought in Marlborough’s War.¹ He fought in the Battle of Blenheim.¹ He fought in the Battle of Malplaquet.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Regiment of Foot of Ireland.¹ He lived at Distington, Cumberland, England^G.¹

     Cornet William Blakeney was the son of John Blakeney and Sarah Persse.¹
     He gained the rank of Cornet in the 5th Dragoons.¹

     Susannah Blakeney was the daughter of John Blakeney and Sarah Persse.¹ She married J. Colpays, they had issue.¹
     Her married name became Colpays.¹

     J. Colpays married Susannah Blakeney, daughter of John Blakeney and Sarah Persse, they had issue.¹
