     Andrew Blake was the son of Dominick Blake and Hon. Frances Netterville.² He married Isabella Knox, daughter of John Knox, after 1784.¹ He died circa 1825.²
     He was admitted to Middle Temple in November 1773.² He lived at Castlegrove, County Galway, Ireland^G.¹

     John Knox also went by the nick-name of “Diamond Knox.”¹ John Knox gave Isabella Knox £10,000 on her marriage, and later the famous Knox Diamonds.¹ He lived at Castlerea, County Roscommon, Ireland^G.¹

     Walter Arthur Blake was the son of Xaverius Blake and Isabella Knox.¹ He married Mary Butler, daughter of James Butler and Teresa O’Hogan, on 14 April 1792 at Gretna Green, Dumfries-shire, Scotland^G, with three other sons and two daughters.¹ He died in 1836.¹
     He fought in the Irish Rebellion in 1798, for which he raised, equipped and maintained at his own expense a corps of Yeomen Cavalry in the King’s service.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹ He lived at Dunmacrina, County Mayo, Ireland^G.¹ He lived at Oranmore Castle, Oranmore, County Galway, Ireland^G.¹

     Mary Butler was born in 1765.² She was the daughter of James Butler and Teresa O’Hogan.^1,2 She married Walter Arthur Blake, son of Xaverius Blake and Isabella Knox, on 14 April 1792 at Gretna Green, Dumfries-shire, Scotland^G, with three other sons and two daughters.¹ She died on 2 December 1829.¹
     From 14 April 1792, her married name became Blake.¹

     Charlotte Coates is the daughter of Thomas Coates and Harriet Daly.¹ She married James Briscoe.¹
     Her married name became Briscoe.¹

     Xaverius Blake was the son of Walter Arthur Blake and Mary Butler.¹ He married Ellis Ussher, daughter of Christopher Ussher and Ellis Browne, on 25 October 1817, they also were the parents of one daughter.¹ He died in 1838.¹
     He lived at Dunmacrina, County Mayo, Ireland^G,¹ and at Oranmore Castle, Oranmore, County Galway, Ireland^G.¹

     Ellis Ussher was the daughter of Christopher Ussher and Ellis Browne.^1,2 She married Xaverius Blake, son of Walter Arthur Blake and Mary Butler, on 25 October 1817, they also were the parents of one daughter.¹
     From 25 October 1817, her married name became Blake.¹

     Christopher Ussher was the son of Christopher Ussher and Margaret Baillie.² He married Ellis Browne, daughter of James Browne, in July 1797.²
     He lived at Eastwell, Killallaghtan, County Galway, Ireland^G.¹

     Walter Augustus Blake was the son of Xaverius Blake and Ellis Ussher.¹ He married Frances Livesay on 11 June 1842, they also had one other daughter.¹ He died in 1858, (or 1859).¹
     He lived at Dunmacrina, County Mayo, Ireland^G,¹ and at Oranmore Castle, Oranmore, County Galway, Ireland^G, which he sold to pay debts in 1853.¹

     Frances Livesay married Walter Augustus Blake, son of Xaverius Blake and Ellis Ussher, on 11 June 1842, they also had one other daughter.¹
     From 11 June 1842, her married name became Blake.¹
