     He was of Fotheringay, Bedfordshire, England^G,¹ and of Hounspell, Somerset, England^G.¹

     Judith Riche was the daughter of John Riche.¹ She married Henry Becher, son of Henry Becher and Alice Heron, with other issue.¹
     Her married name became Becher.¹

     John Riche was invested as the Physician to Queen Elizabeth I.¹ He graduated with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.)¹

     Sir William Becher was the son of Henry Becher and Judith Riche.¹ He married Hon. Elizabeth St. John, daughter of Oliver St. John, 1st Baron Saint John of Bletso and Elizabeth Chamber, in 1614, they also had other children.¹ His will was proven (by probate) on 2 April 1641.¹
     He was appointed Knight Bachelor in 1619.¹ He lived at Howberry¹ and at Rouhall both in Bedfordshire, England.¹

     Hon. Elizabeth St. John was the daughter of Oliver St. John, 1st Baron Saint John of Bletso and Elizabeth Chamber.^1,2 She married Sir William Becher, son of Henry Becher and Judith Riche, in 1614, they also had other children.¹
     From 1614, her married name became Becher.¹

     Mary Cranfield Becher was born on 6 December 1716 at Bristol, England^G.² She was the daughter of Sir John Becher and Mary Cranfield.^1,2 She was baptised on 3 January 1716/17 at St. Stephen’s Church, Bristol, England^G.² She married Richard Hungerford, son of Thomas Hungerford and Susannah Becher, circa 1737.^3,2 She died circa 1750.²
     From circa 1737, her married name became Hungerford.¹

     Oliver Becher was the son of Sir William Becher and Hon. Elizabeth St. John.¹ He married Elizabeth Tate, daughter of Sir William Tate.¹
     He lived at Fotheringay, Bedfordshire, England^G.¹ He lived at Howberry, Bedfordshire, England^G.¹

     Elizabeth Tate was the daughter of Sir William Tate.¹ She married Oliver Becher, son of Sir William Becher and Hon. Elizabeth St. John.¹
     Her married name became Becher.¹
