     Lt.-Col. North Ludlow Beamish was born on 29 December 1796.¹ He was the son of William Beamish and Anne Jane Margaret Delacour.¹ He married Aline Marie Forsstrom, daughter of Reverend John Eric Forsstrom, on 27 May 1841.¹ He died on 28 April 1872 at age 75.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 4th Dragoon Guards.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹ He lived at Lota Park, Lota More, County Cork, Ireland^G.¹ He was appointed Knight, Hanoverian Order (K.H.)¹ He was appointed Fellow, Royal Society (F.R.S.)¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel, à la suite in the Hanoverian Service.¹ He held the office of High Sheriff in 1855.¹ He wrote military books.¹ He lived at Anne Mount, Caherlag, County Cork, Ireland^G.¹

     Aline Marie Forsstrom was the daughter of Reverend John Eric Forsstrom.¹ She married Lt.-Col. North Ludlow Beamish, son of William Beamish and Anne Jane Margaret Delacour, on 27 May 1841.¹ She died on 13 February 1900.¹
     From 27 May 1841, her married name became Beamish.¹

     Reverend John Eric Forsstrom held the office of Dean of Munktrop, Sweden.¹

     North Ludlow Axel Beamish was born on 14 June 1842.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Col. North Ludlow Beamish and Aline Marie Forsstrom.¹ He married Edith Anne Thompson, daughter of Reverend William Hamilton Thompson and Anne Jane Margaret Beamish, on 16 November 1869.¹ He died in May 1923 at age 80.¹
     He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹ He was a member of the Committee for the Cork International Exhibition in 1902.¹ He was a cattle breeder.¹ He was a Director of Beamish & Crawford, Ltd.¹ He was an honorary Treasurer of the Munster Agricultural Society.¹ He lived at Ashgrove, Clondrohid, County Cork, Ireland^G.¹

     Edith Anne Thompson was the daughter of Reverend William Hamilton Thompson and Anne Jane Margaret Beamish.¹ She married North Ludlow Axel Beamish, son of Lt.-Col. North Ludlow Beamish and Aline Marie Forsstrom, on 16 November 1869.¹
     From 16 November 1869, her married name became Beamish.¹

     Ludlow Hamilton Beamish was born on 26 January 1871.¹ He was the son of North Ludlow Axel Beamish and Edith Anne Thompson.¹ He married Mabel Anne MacNaughton, daughter of William MacNaughton, in 1909.¹ He died on 17 October 1951 at age 80.¹
     He lived at White Rock, British Columbia, Canada^G.¹

     Mabel Anne MacNaughton was the daughter of William MacNaughton.¹ She married Ludlow Hamilton Beamish, son of North Ludlow Axel Beamish and Edith Anne Thompson, in 1909.¹ She died on 3 September 1964.¹
     From 1909, her married name became Beamish.¹

     William MacNaughton lived at Salisbury, New Brunswick, Canada^G.¹
