     He was a practising avocat.¹ Marie Joseph Georges Ferdinand Toucas usually went by his middle name of Fernand.² He lived at Paris, France^G.¹

     Major Henry Austin Hamilton was born on 15 February 1880 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland^G.² He was the son of Hubert Hamilton and Louisa Wentworth-Davidson.² He married Madeleine Marthe Émilie Marie Toucas, daughter of Marie Joseph Georges Ferdinand Toucas and Claire Antoinette Euphrasie Massillon, on 15 April 1907 at Neuilly-sur-Seine, Hauts-de-Seine, France^G.^1,2 He died on 25 January 1916 at age 35 at Dickebusch, Belgium^G, killed in action.^1,2

     Maria Anne Perceval was born on 17 April 1830.² She was the daughter of Spencer Perceval and Anna Eliza Macleod.¹ She married Maj.-Gen. Arthur Stevens, son of Christopher Stevens and Mary Isabella Haverfield, on 12 August 1884.¹ She died on 2 June 1895 at age 65, without issue.¹

     Patricia Mary Heaton-Armstrong was born on 8 December 1952.¹ She is the daughter of Captain Thomas Michael Robert Heaton-Armstrong and Helen Gabrielle Laura Hazel Heaton-Armstrong.¹ She married Stuart A. L. Robertson in 1977.²
