     Michael Andrews was born on 1 June 1788.1 He was the son of Michael Andrews and Elizabeth Meek.1 He married, firstly, Sarah D. McWilliam on 17 September 1810.1 He married, secondly, Margaret McCammon, daughter of John McCammon, on 28 January 1817.1 He married, thirdly, Eliza Ormiston, daughter of James Ormiston, on 3 April 1845.1 He died on 20 December 1870 at age 82.1
     He was member of many Public Committees for 44 years at Belfast, County Antrim, IrelandG.1 He was honorary Secretary for the Irish Harp Society in 1811.1 In 1815 he founded the Belfast Savings Bank.1 He was a linen manufacturer at Belfast, County Antrim, IrelandG.1 In 1819 he bought land at Edenderry, County Antrim, IrelandG, and then used the land to build a damask factory and a model village.1 He lived at Ardoyne House, Edenderry, County Antrim, IrelandG.1
