     Lieutenant Thomas Andrews was born in 1747.¹ He was the son of John Andrews and Mary Corbitt.¹ He married Ann Forde, daughter of Captain William Forde, on 28 November 1774.¹ He died on 10 June 1809, without issue.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in 1779 in the his father’s Volunteer Company.¹ He was one of the original members of the Belfast Chamber of Commerce in 1783.¹ He was a linen-trader.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Antrim in 1796.¹ He held the office of the Deputy Governor of Belfast in 1804.¹ 1804 Thomas John Andrews joined into a partnership with his uncle Lieutenant Thomas Andrews.¹ He lived at Belfast, County Antrim, Ireland^G.¹

     Ann Forde was the daughter of Captain William Forde.¹ She married Lieutenant Thomas Andrews, son of John Andrews and Mary Corbitt, on 28 November 1774.¹ She died on 6 February 1816.¹
     From 28 November 1774, her married name became Andrews.¹

     Captain William Forde gained the rank of Captain in the 64th Foot.¹

     Michael Andrews was born circa 1749.¹ He was the son of John Andrews and Mary Corbitt.¹ He married Elizabeth Meek, daughter of John Meek, in 1779.¹ He died in 1805.¹
     He was a linen-bleacher.¹ He lived at Annsborough, County Down, Ireland^G.¹

     Elizabeth Meek was the daughter of John Meek.¹ She married Michael Andrews, son of John Andrews and Mary Corbitt, in 1779.¹ She died on 15 March 1841.¹
     From 1779, her married name became Andrews.¹

     John Meek lived at Watersough, Lanarkshire, Scotland^G.¹

     Thomas John Andrews was born in 1781.¹ He was the son of Michael Andrews and Elizabeth Meek.¹ He married Elizabeth R. Stevenson, daughter of James Stevenson, on 26 January 1813.¹ He died on 16 June 1842.¹
     1804 Thomas John Andrews joined into a partnership with his uncle Lieutenant Thomas Andrews.¹ He was a member of many Public Committees in Belfast.¹ He lived at Belfast, County Antrim, Ireland^G.¹

     Elizabeth R. Stevenson was the daughter of James Stevenson.¹ She married Thomas John Andrews, son of Michael Andrews and Elizabeth Meek, on 26 January 1813.¹ She died on 12 February 1859.¹
     From 26 January 1813, her married name became Andrews.¹

     James Stevenson lived at Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland^G.¹

     Thomas Andrews was born on 19 December 1813.¹ He was the son of Thomas John Andrews and Elizabeth R. Stevenson.¹ He married Jane Hardie Walker, daughter of Major James Walker, on 18 September 1842.¹ He died on 25 November 1885 at age 71.¹
