     He gained the rank of Sub-Lieutenant in the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve.¹

     Elizabeth Grant was the daughter of Frank Grant.¹ She married Charles Wadsworth Murray, son of Charles James Murray and Lady Anne Francesca Wilhelmina Finch, on 8 January 1924.¹ She died in 1993.¹

     Hon. Edith Susan Esther Fitzpatrick was the daughter of John Fitzpatrick, 1st Baron Castletown of Upper Ossory and Augusta Mary Douglas.¹ She married Rt. Hon. Sir Charles Augustus Murray, son of George Murray, 5th Earl of Dunmore and Lady Susan Hamilton, on 1 November 1862.¹ She died on 1 December 1906.¹
     From 1 November 1862, her married name became Murray.¹

     Cecil Henry Alexander Murray was born on 4 April 1866.¹ He was the son of Rt. Hon. Sir Charles Augustus Murray and Hon. Edith Susan Esther Fitzpatrick.¹ He died on 3 June 1896 at age 30, at sea.¹

     Rear-Admiral Henry Anthony Murray was born on 10 January 1810.¹ He was the son of George Murray, 5th Earl of Dunmore and Lady Susan Hamilton.¹ He died on 17 February 1865 at age 55.¹
     He was awarded the Knight Grand Cross, Bavarian Order of St. Michael of Merit.¹

     Commander Augustus Charles Murray was born on 16 December 1815.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Col. Hon. Alexander Murray and Deborah Hunt.¹ He married Abbie Lee, daughter of David Lee, on 14 August 1851.¹ He died in 1902, without issue.¹
     He gained the rank of Commander in the Royal Navy.¹

     Abbie Lee is the daughter of David Lee.¹ She married Commander Augustus Charles Murray, son of Lt.-Col. Hon. Alexander Murray and Deborah Hunt, on 14 August 1851.¹
     From 14 August 1851, her married name became Murray.¹
