     Sir William Strickland, 1st Bt. was the son of Walter Strickland and Frances Wentworth.² He married, firstly, Margaret Cholmley, daughter of Sir Richard Cholmley and Susanna Legard, on 18 June 1622.² He married, secondly, Lady Frances Finch, daughter of Thomas Finch, 2nd Earl of Winchilsea and Cecille Wentworth, on 3 May 1631.² He died in 1673.²
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.), Cromwell’s Other House during the Interregnum.² He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Hendon between 1640 and 1653.² He was created 1st Baronet Strickland, of Boynton, co. York [England] on 30 July 1641.² He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for the East Riding, Yorkshire between 1654 and 1656.²

     Thady Windham Thomas Wyndham-Quin, 7th Earl of Dunraven and Mount-Earl was born on 27 October 1939.¹ He was the son of Richard Southwell Windham Robert Wyndham-Quin, 6th Earl of Dunraven and Mount-Earl and Nancy Yuille.¹ He married Geraldine McAleer, daughter of A/Cdre. Gerald Ward McAleer, on 15 February 1969.¹ He died on 25 March 2011 at age 71.³
     He was educated at Ludgrove School, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He was educated at Le Rosey School, Rolle, Switzerland^G.¹ He succeeded as the 7th Earl of Dunraven and Mount-Earl [I., 1822] on 23 August 1965.¹ He succeeded as the 7th Viscount Mount-Earl [I., 1816] on 23 August 1965.⁴ He succeeded as the 7th Baronet Quin, of Adare, co. Limerick [I., 1781] on 23 August 1965.¹ He succeeded as the 7th Viscount Adare [I., 1822] on 23 August 1965.¹ He succeeded as the 7th Baron Adare, of Adare [I., 1800] on 23 August 1965.¹ He lived in 2003 at Kilgobbin House, Adare, County Limerick, Ireland^G.¹ On his death, his titles became extinct.³

     Nancy Yuille was born on 7 January 1902 at U.S.A.^G.² She was the daughter of Thomas B. Yuille.¹ She married Richard Southwell Windham Robert Wyndham-Quin, 6th Earl of Dunraven and Mount-Earl, son of Windham Henry Wyndham-Quin, 5th Earl of Dunraven and Mount-Earl and Lady Eva Constance Aline Bourke, on 7 March 1934.¹ She died on 2 March 1994 at age 92 at Kilgobbin, Adare, County Limerick, Ireland^G.^1,2
     Her married name became Wyndham-Quin. After her marriage, Nancy Yuille was styled as Countess of Dunraven and Mount-Earl on 23 October 1952.

     Lady Melissa Eva Caroline Wyndham-Quin was born on 16 February 1935.² She was the daughter of Richard Southwell Windham Robert Wyndham-Quin, 6th Earl of Dunraven and Mount-Earl and Nancy Yuille.^1,2 She married Major Sir George Francis Cecil Brooke, 3rd Bt., son of Captain Sir Hugh Brooke, 2nd Bt. and Mary Louisa Mabel Arnott, on 25 June 1959.¹ She died on 5 January 2021 at age 85.³
     Her married name became Brooke. She was Master of Foxhounds, Limerick between 1990 and 1996.² She lived in 2003 at Glenbevan, Croom, County Limerick, Ireland^G.¹

     Windham Henry Wyndham-Quin, 5th Earl of Dunraven and Mount-Earl was born on 7 February 1857.¹ He was the son of Captain Hon. Windham Henry Wyndham-Quin and Caroline Tyler.¹ He married Lady Eva Constance Aline Bourke, daughter of Richard Southwell Bourke, 6th Earl of Mayo and Hon. Blanche Julia Wyndham, on 7 July 1885.¹ He died on 23 October 1952 at age 95.¹
     He fought in the First Boer War in 1881.¹ He was Aide-de-Camp and Military Secretary to the Governor of Madras between 1886 and 1889.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for South Glamorgan between 1895 and 1906.¹ He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1901, where he was mentioned in despatches.¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1900.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Glamorgan.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1903.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the 16th Lancers.¹ He held the office of High Sheriff of County Kilkenny in 1914.¹ He was Commandant of the Line of Communications in 1915.¹ He was Lieutenant-Colonel and Honorary Colonel of the Glamorgan Yeomanry.¹ He gained the rank of Honorary Major in the Royal Gloucestershire Hussars.¹ He succeeded as the 5th Viscount Adare [I., 1822] on 14 June 1926.¹ He succeeded as the 5th Viscount Mount-Earl [I., 1816] on 14 June 1926.¹ He succeeded as the 5th Baron Adare, of Adare [I., 1800] on 14 June 1926.¹ He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Quin, of Adare, co.      Lady Eva Constance Aline Bourke was the daughter of Richard Southwell Bourke, 6th Earl of Mayo and Hon. Blanche Julia Wyndham.^1,2 She married Windham Henry Wyndham-Quin, 5th Earl of Dunraven and Mount-Earl, son of Captain Hon. Windham Henry Wyndham-Quin and Caroline Tyler, on 7 July 1885.¹ She died on 19 January 1940.¹
     Her married name became Wyndham-Quin. After her marriage, Lady Eva Constance Aline Bourke was styled as Countess of Dunraven and Mount-Earl on 14 June 1926.

     Richard Southwell Bourke, 6th Earl of Mayo was born on 21 February 1822.¹ He was the son of Robert Bourke, 5th Earl of Mayo and Anne Charlotte Jocelyn.¹ He married Hon. Blanche Julia Wyndham, daughter of George Wyndham, 1st Baron Leconfield of Leconfield and Mary Fanny Blunt, on 31 October 1848.² He died on 8 February 1872 at age 49 at Andaman Islands^G, assassinated on a tour of inspection.¹
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Conservative) for County Kildare between 1847 and 1852.¹ He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) in 1852.¹ He held the office of Chief Secretary [Ireland] in 1852.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Conservative) for Coleraine between 1852 and 1857.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.)      Captain Hon. Windham Henry Wyndham-Quin was born on 2 November 1829.¹ He was the son of Windham Henry Wyndham-Quin, 2nd Earl of Dunraven and Mount-Earl and Caroline Wyndham.¹ He married Caroline Tyler, daughter of Vice-Admiral Sir George Tyler and Harriet Margaret Sullivan, on 24 January 1856.¹ He died on 24 October 1865 at age 35.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Grenadier Guards.¹

     Caroline Tyler was born in 1835 at Richings Park, Buckinghamshire, England.² She was the daughter of Vice-Admiral Sir George Tyler and Harriet Margaret Sullivan.¹ She married, firstly, Captain Hon. Windham Henry Wyndham-Quin, son of Windham Henry Wyndham-Quin, 2nd Earl of Dunraven and Mount-Earl and Caroline Wyndham, on 24 January 1856.¹ She married, secondly, Lt.-Gen. Nathaniel Octavius Simpson Turner, son of Maj.-Gen. Charles Turner and Harriett Ann Stevenson, on 5 March 1867 at St. George Hanover Square, London, England.^1,2 She died on 22 October 1898.¹
     Her married name became Wyndham-Quin. From 5 March 1867, her married name became Turner.¹
