Lt.-Col. Thomas Reynolds-Moreton, 2nd Baron Ducie of Tortworth1

Lt.-Col. Thomas Reynolds-Moreton, 2nd Baron Ducie of Tortworth was born on 26 October 1733.1 He was the son of Francis Reynolds and Hon. Elizabeth Moreton.1 He married Margaret Ramsden, daughter of Sir John Ramsden, 3rd Bt. and Margaret Norton, on 20 February 1774.3 He died on 11 September 1785 at age 51, without issue.1
He was given the name of Thomas Reynolds at birth.1 He was Clerk to the Crown of the County Palatinate of Lancaster between 1761 and 1780.1 He was Lieutenant-Colonel of the Coldstream Foot Guards between 1762 and 1771.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baron Ducie of Tortworth, co. Gloucester [G.B., 1763] on 25 December 1770.1 On 8 March 1771 his name was legally changed to Thomas Reynolds-Moreton by Act of Parliament.1
