     He was educated at Woking Grammar School, Woking, Surrey, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Reconnaissance Corps.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He was educated at St. Columba’s College, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G.¹ He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)¹ He gained the rank of Wing Commander in the Royal Air Force Regiment.¹ He was the Principal between 1972 and 1979 at Queen Elizabeth’s Training College, Leatherhead, Surrey, England^G.¹ He was Deputy Director of Queen Elizabeth’s Foundation for the Disabled between 1979 and 1984.¹

     William James Rutt lived at Trimley St. Mary, Suffolk, England^G.¹

     Ethel Jean Coote was born on 29 April 1876.¹ She was the daughter of Sir Algernon Charles Plumptre Coote, 12th Bt. and Jean Trotter.² She married Ivor Bevan, son of Francis Augustus Bevan and Constance Hogg, on 14 July 1896.¹ She and Ivor Bevan were divorced in 1921.¹ She died on 27 July 1941 at age 65.¹
     From 14 July 1896, her married name became Bevan. She was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1919.¹

     George Massy was born in 1760.² He was the son of Reverend William Massy and unknown Scanlan.¹ He married, firstly, Lucinda Clenchy.¹ He married, secondly, Elizabeth Maria Odell, daughter of Colonel William Odell and Aphra Crone, on 1 June 1819.¹ He died in 1835.²
     He lived at Glenwilliam Castle, County Limerick, Ireland^G.¹

     Ivor Bevan was the son of Francis Augustus Bevan and Constance Hogg.² He married Ethel Jean Coote, daughter of Sir Algernon Charles Plumptre Coote, 12th Bt. and Jean Trotter, on 14 July 1896.¹ He and Ethel Jean Coote were divorced in 1921.¹ He died in December 1941.¹

     Lucinda Clenchy married George Massy, son of Reverend William Massy and unknown Scanlan.¹ She died in April 1818.¹
