     Helena Frances Anna Davies-Cooke was the daughter of Philip Bryan Davies-Cooke and Emma Julia Sykes.² She died on 14 March 1919.¹

     Bryan George Davies-Cooke was born on 3 January 1835.¹ He was the son of Philip Davies-Cooke and Lady Helena Caroline King.² He married Judith Caroline Halsted Poole, daughter of Captain William Halsted Poole, on 24 January 1860.¹ He died on 20 September 1913 at age 78.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 73rd Regiment.¹ He held the office of High Sheriff of Flintshire in 1865.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Flintshire.¹ He lived at Colomendy, Denbighshire, Wales^G.¹ He gained the rank of Colonel and Lieutenant-Colonel in the Flint Volunteers.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Flintshire.¹

     Captain William Halsted Poole lived at Terwick Hall, Shropshire, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Horse Artillery.¹

     Judith Caroline Halsted Poole was the daughter of Captain William Halsted Poole.² She married Bryan George Davies-Cooke, son of Philip Davies-Cooke and Lady Helena Caroline King, on 24 January 1860.¹ She died on 25 February 1922.¹
     From 24 January 1860, her married name became Davies-Cooke.

     Bryan Davies Poole was born on 9 September 1861.¹ He was the son of Bryan George Davies-Cooke and Judith Caroline Halsted Poole.² He married Georgiana Mary Fenwick, daughter of Charles R. Fenwick, in 1890.¹ He died on 1 December 1930 at age 69.¹
     He was given the name of Bryan Davies Cooke at birth.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Denbighshire and Merionethshire Militia.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Cheshire.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Shropshire.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Cheshire.¹ On 26 September 1907 his name was legally changed to Bryan Davies Poole by Royal Licence.¹
