     William Hugh Davies-Cooke was born on 13 October 1862.2 He was the son of Bryan George Davies-Cooke and Judith Caroline Halsted Poole.2 He married Mabel Louisa Philips, daughter of Captain Edwin William Philips and Fanny Louisa Eyres, on 27 June 1900.2 He died on 28 November 1941 at age 79.2
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Flintshire.2 He lived at Maes Alyn, Mold, Clwyd, WalesG.1

     Kathleen Mabel Davies-Cooke was born on 5 January 1903.3 She was the daughter of William Hugh Davies-Cooke and Mabel Louisa Philips.3 She married Colonel Philip Ralph Davies-Cooke, son of Philip Tatton Davies-Cooke and Doris Donaldson-Hudson, on 12 June 1924.1 She died in 1994.1
     She was chairman of the Executive Committee of the Girl Guides Association of Great Britain between 1948 and 1951.3 She was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1964.1
