     He held the office of Solicitor-General.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the 4th Highland Light Infantry.¹ He was appointed King’s Counsel (K.C.)¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.)¹

     Ursula Maud Wyndham Cook was born on 20 November 1900.¹ She is the daughter of Wyndham Francis Cook and Frederica Evelyn Stillwell Freeland.² She married, firstly, Lt.-Cdr. Cecil Highat Harcourt Smith, son of Sir Cecil Harcourt Smith, on 31 January 1921.¹ She and Lt.-Cdr. Cecil Highat Harcourt Smith were divorced in 1924.¹ She married, secondly, Cecil Walter Lazenby, son of Frank Lazenby, on 18 December 1924.¹
     From 31 January 1921, her married name became Smith. From 18 December 1924, her married name became Lazenby.¹

     Lt.-Cdr. Cecil Highat Harcourt Smith was the son of Sir Cecil Harcourt Smith.² He married Ursula Maud Wyndham Cook, daughter of Wyndham Francis Cook and Frederica Evelyn Stillwell Freeland, on 31 January 1921.¹ He and Ursula Maud Wyndham Cook were divorced in 1924.¹ He died on 18 March 1956.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Commander in the Royal Navy.¹ He was appointed Commander, Royal Victorian Order (C.V.O.)¹

     Emily Jane Cook was born on 8 January 1849.¹ She was the daughter of Sir Francis Cook, 1st Bt. and Emily Martha Lucas.² She married Maj.-Gen. Sir Euston Henry Sartorius, V.C., son of Admiral Sir George Rose Sartorius and Sophia Lamb, on 22 December 1874.¹ She died on 6 January 1915 at age 65, leaving issue.¹
     From 22 December 1874, her married name became Sartorius.

     Admiral Sir George Rose Sartorius was born in 1790.³ He was the son of Colonel John Conrad Sartorius and Annabella Rose.³ He married Sophia Lamb, daughter of John Lamb, in 1839.³ He died on 13 April 1885 at East Grove, Lymington, Hampshire, England.³
     He was appointed Knight on 21 August 1841.³ He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.) on 28 March 1865.³ He gained the rank of Admiral of the Fleet on 3 July 1869.³ He was created Visconte de Piedade [Portugal].³ He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Order of the Bath (G.C.B.) on 23 April 1880.⁴ He lived at Old Swan House, Chelsea, London, England^G.¹

     Maj.-Gen. Sir Euston Henry Sartorius, V.C. was the son of Admiral Sir George Rose Sartorius and Sophia Lamb.^3,4 He married Emily Jane Cook, daughter of Sir Francis Cook, 1st Bt. and Emily Martha Lucas, on 22 December 1874.¹ He died on 19 February 1925.¹
     He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)¹ He was awarded the Victoria Cross (V.C.)¹ He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Order of the Bath (G.C.B.)¹

     Eliza Baddeley was born on 7 January 1807.¹ She was the daughter of Charles Baddeley and Ann Cordell.¹ She married Reverend Thomas Sanderson on 14 May 1835.¹ She died on 20 October 1894 at age 87.¹
     From 14 May 1835, her married name became Sanderson.¹
