     Gilbert Domvile was the son of William Domvile and Mary Mere.2 He married Margaret Jones, daughter of Most Reverend Thomas Jones and Margaret Purdon.1 He died on 22 October 1637.3 He was buried at St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandG.3
     He was removed to Ireland at the beginning of King James I’s reign.3 Clerk of Crown and Hanaper.3 He lived at Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandG.3 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for County Kildare in 1613.3
