     Major Harry Lachlan Lindsay was born on 25 October 1912.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Col. James Howard Lindsay and Joanna Lucy Gordon-Duff.¹ He died on 18 September 1944 at age 31 at Italy^G, killed in action.¹
     He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Horse Artillery.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹

     Major John Stewart Lindsay-MacDougall was born on 28 February 1911.¹ He was the son of Francis Howard Lindsay and Helen Margaret MacDougall.¹ He married Sheila Marion Roma Sprot, daughter of Captain James William Lennox Sprot and Romer Louise Hunter Bishop, on 4 September 1934.¹ He died on 5 August 1943 at age 32 at Italy^G, while in enemy hands, from wounds received in action.¹
     He was given the name of John Stewart Lindsay at birth.¹ In April 1932 his name was legally changed to John Stewart Lindsay-MacDougall.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He gained the rank of Major in 1939 in the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders.¹ He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)² He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)¹ He lived at Lunga, Ardfern, Lochgilphead, Argyllshire, Scotland^G.²

     Sheila Marion Roma Sprot was born in 1912.² She was the daughter of Captain James William Lennox Sprot and Romer Louise Hunter Bishop.^1,3 She married, firstly, Major John Stewart Lindsay-MacDougall, son of Francis Howard Lindsay and Helen Margaret MacDougall, on 4 September 1934.¹ She married, secondly, Lt.-Col. Aubrey Wynter Gibbon, son of Reverend Henry Hensham Gibbon, on 7 October 1949.¹ She died on 10 December 2012 at Perthshire, Scotland.²
     From 4 September 1934, her married name became Lindsay-MacDougall.¹ From 7 October 1949, her married name became Gibbon.¹

     Captain James William Lennox Sprot was born in 1886.² He was the son of Edward William Sprot and Marion Gray Boyd.² He married Romer Louise Hunter Bishop.² He died in 1914.²
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Black Watch.¹

     Lt.-Col. Aubrey Wynter Gibbon was born in 1904.² He was the son of Reverend Henry Hensham Gibbon.¹ He married Sheila Marion Roma Sprot, daughter of Captain James William Lennox Sprot and Romer Louise Hunter Bishop, on 7 October 1949.¹ He died in 1978.²
     He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.)¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders.¹

     Reverend Henry Hensham Gibbon graduated with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He was awarded the Territorial Decoration (T.D.)¹ He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.)¹

     Colin John Francis Lindsay-MacDougall was born on 21 July 1939.¹ He is the son of Major John Stewart Lindsay-MacDougall and Sheila Marion Roma Sprot.¹ He married Hon. Frances Phoebe Phillimore, daughter of Captain Hon. Anthony Francis Phillimore and Anne Julia Pereira, on 11 February 1961.¹ He and Hon. Frances Phoebe Phillimore were divorced in 1978.²
     He was educated at Radley College, Abingdon, Oxfordshire, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in the The Queen’s Own Hussars.¹ He lived at Lunga, Ardfern, Lochgilphead, Argyllshire, Scotland^G.¹

     Hon. Frances Phoebe Phillimore was born on 24 June 1938.² She was the daughter of Captain Hon. Anthony Francis Phillimore and Anne Julia Pereira.^1,3 She married, firstly, Colin John Francis Lindsay-MacDougall, son of Major John Stewart Lindsay-MacDougall and Sheila Marion Roma Sprot, on 11 February 1961.¹ She and Colin John Francis Lindsay-MacDougall were divorced in 1978.² She married, secondly, Joseph Peter Gibson, son of Charles Gibson, in 1980.² She died on 30 October 2001 at age 63.^1,3
     On 24 May 1949 she was granted the rank of baron’s daughter.² From 11 February 1961, her married name became Lindsay-MacDougall.¹ From 1980, her married name became Gibson.²

     Captain Hon. Anthony Francis Phillimore was born on 2 February 1907.² He was the son of Walter Godfrey Phillimore, 2nd Baron Phillimore and Dorothy Barbara Haig.³ He married Anne Julia Pereira, daughter of Maj.-Gen. Sir Cecil Edward Pereira and Helen Lane Fox, on 18 July 1934.² He died circa 23 February 1940 at France, killed in action.³
     He fought in the Second World War.² He gained the rank of Captain in the 9th Lancers.¹

     James Alexander Lindsay-MacDougall was born on 4 December 1964.¹ He is the son of Colin John Francis Lindsay-MacDougall and Hon. Frances Phoebe Phillimore.¹ He married Helen Miles.²
