     Susan Edith Clerk was the daughter of Sir James Clerk of Penicuik, 7th Bt. and Jane Calvert Henderson.¹ She married Sir Alan Henry Seton-Steuart of Allanton and Touch, 4th Bt., son of Archibald Seton-Steuart and Katherine Stein, on 5 June 1883.¹ She died on 21 April 1907, without issue.¹
     From 5 June 1883, her married name became Seton-Steuart.¹

     Major Gilbert Mahon King was born in 1905. He is the son of Henry Louis King and Winifred Harriet Ward.
     He lived at Mullingar, County Westmeath, Ireland^G.¹

     Leila King is the daughter of Major Gilbert Mahon King.² She married Lt.-Col. Nicholas Henry Harvey Adams, son of Michael George Russell Adams and Mary Helen Clerk, on 8 December 1964.¹
     From 8 December 1964, her married name became Adams.

     Sir Alan Henry Seton-Steuart of Allanton and Touch, 4th Bt. was born on 23 April 1856.¹ He was the son of Archibald Seton-Steuart and Katherine Stein.² He married Susan Edith Clerk, daughter of Sir James Clerk of Penicuik, 7th Bt. and Jane Calvert Henderson, on 5 June 1883.² He died on 3 April 1913 at age 56.²
     He gained the title of 4th Baronet Seton-Steuart. He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.¹ He graduated from Pembroke College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, in 1882 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He was Hereditary Armour Bearer and Squire of the Royal Body of Scotland.¹ He was Commissioner of Supply for Stirlingshire and Lanarkshire.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Stirlingshire.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Stirlingshire.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Lanarkshire.¹

     Jane Isabella Maria Clerk was the daughter of Sir James Clerk of Penicuik, 7th Bt. and Jane Calvert Henderson.¹ She died on 25 January 1936, unmarried.¹

     Mary Elizabeth Clerk was the daughter of Sir James Clerk of Penicuik, 7th Bt. and Jane Calvert Henderson.¹ She died on 9 December 1940, unmarried.¹

     Clare Laura Catherine Adams was born on 2 August 1971.¹ She is the daughter of Lt.-Col. Nicholas Henry Harvey Adams and Leila King.²
     She was educated at St. Mary’s School, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G.¹ She graduated from St. John’s College, Durham University, Durham, County Durham, England^G, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹

     George Miles Bramston Adams was born on 18 August 1956.¹ He is the son of Michael George Russell Adams and Mary Helen Clerk.² He married Christine Martin in 1987.¹
     He lived in 2003 at 131 Percy Road, London, England^G.¹
