     John Haughton James was born on 23 September 1763 at Hanover, Jamaica.² He was the son of Colonel Montague James and Mary Haughton.^1,3 He married Mary Halton, daughter of Sir William Halton, 6th Bt. and Mary Garner, on 3 February 1791 at St. George, Hanover Square, London, England.² He died on 29 June 1835 at age 71.²
     He lived at Burnt River, Hanover, Jamaica^G.¹

     Ann Clayton was born on 19 September 1933.¹ She is the daughter of Sir Arthur Harold Clayton, 11th Bt. and Alexandra Andreevsky.² She married, firstly, Alfred Plew, son of Edwin Plew, on 4 October 1951.¹ She and Alfred Plew were divorced in 1977.¹ She married, secondly, John Hawksely Martin in 1978.¹
     From 4 October 1951, her married name became Plew. From 1978, her married name became Martin.¹

     Edwin Plew lived at Pendennis, Paignton, Devon, England^G.¹

     Alfred Plew is the son of Edwin Plew.² He married Ann Clayton, daughter of Sir Arthur Harold Clayton, 11th Bt. and Alexandra Andreevsky, on 4 October 1951.¹ He and Ann Clayton were divorced in 1977.¹
     He was a practising solicitor.¹

     Sir Simon Haughton Clarke, 10th Bt. was born on 7 April 1818.¹ He was the son of Sir Simon Haughton Clarke, 9th Bt. and Catherine Haughton James.¹ He died on 28 April 1849 at age 31 at Guernsey, Channel Islands^G, unmarried.¹
     He was also known as Simon Houghton Clarke.² He succeeded as the 10th Baronet Clarke, of Salford, co. Warwick [E., 1617] on 28 August 1832.³ He matriculated at Balliol College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, on 16 December 1837.³

     Captain Charles Alverey Grazebrook gained the rank of Captain in the 60th Rifles.¹

     Diana Katherine Mary Grazebrook is the daughter of Captain Charles Alverey Grazebrook.² She married, firstly, Peter Neve.¹ She married, secondly, unknown Bircham.¹ She married, thirdly, Sir Arthur Harold Clayton, 11th Bt., son of Sir Harold Dudley Clayton, 10th Bt. and Leila Cecilia Clayton, in 1965.¹
     Her married name became Bircham.¹ Her married name became Neve.¹ From 1965, her married name became Clayton.¹ She lived in 2003 at Colonsay, Kingswear, Devon, England^G.¹

     Arthur John Greenhalgh lived at Llanrhos, Llandudno, Caernarvonshire, Wales^G.¹

     Dorothy Greenhalgh was the daughter of Arthur John Greenhalgh.² She married, firstly, S. Hamer.¹ She married, secondly, Sir Arthur Harold Clayton, 11th Bt., son of Sir Harold Dudley Clayton, 10th Bt. and Leila Cecilia Clayton, on 29 May 1954.¹ She died on 8 April 1964.¹
     Dorothy Greenhalgh also went by the nick-name of Jill.¹ Her married name became Hamer.¹ From 29 May 1954, her married name became Clayton.¹

     William East was the son of William East.¹ He married Anne Cooke, daughter of Sir George Cooke and Anne Jennings.¹ He died in 1737.¹
     He was a practising barrister.¹ He lived at Hall Place, Hurley, Berkshire, England^G.¹
