Colonel Philip Herbert Catt is the son of George Herbert Catt.3 He married Winifred Ianthe Clayton, daughter of John William Clayton and Catherine Mary Gibson, on 21 October 1943.1
He gained the rank of Colonel in the Scots Guards.1 He was appointed Fellow, Royal Geographical Society (F.R.G.S.)1 He was appointed Knight of Justice, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (K.J.St.J.)1
