     Rice Richard Clayton was born on 15 November 1797.¹ He was the son of Sir William Clayton, 4th Bt. and Mary East.² He married Maria Amelia Nugent, daughter of Field Marshal Sir George Nugent, 1st Bt. and Maria Skinner, on 31 July 1832.² He was also reported to have been married on 3 July 1832.¹ He died on 4 May 1879 at age 81.¹
     He graduated with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He held the office of High Sheriff of Buckinghamshire in 1838.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Buckinghamshire.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Buckinghamshire.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Aylesbury between 1841 and 1847.¹ He lived at Hedgerley Park, Buckinghamshire, England^G.¹

     Maria Amelia Nugent was the daughter of Field Marshal Sir George Nugent, 1st Bt. and Maria Skinner.² She was also reported to have been married on 3 July 1832.¹ She married Rice Richard Clayton, son of Sir William Clayton, 4th Bt. and Mary East, on 31 July 1832.² She died on 30 December 1880.¹
     Her married name became Clayton.

     Barbara Jean Drummond was born on 5 April 1919.¹ She was the daughter of Algernon Cecil Heneage Drummond and Janetta Vandeleur.² She died on 10 March 1920.¹

     Cecil Edward Hervey was born on 12 March 1877.¹ He was the son of Francis Arthur Hervey and Louisa Maude Clayton.¹ He died on 13 December 1889 at age 12.¹

     Captain Richard George Hervey was born on 17 July 1879.¹ He was the son of Francis Arthur Hervey and Louisa Maude Clayton.¹ He died on 18 November 1964 at age 85, unmarried.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹ He was awarded the Order of the White Eagle of Serbia.¹ He was awarded the Order of St. Stanislaus of Russia.¹ He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1919.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹

     Alec Francis Hervey was born on 8 October 1885.¹ He was the son of Francis Arthur Hervey and Louisa Maude Clayton.¹ He married, firstly, Winifred Victoria Cosens, daughter of Frederick George Cosens, on 16 November 1912.¹ He and Winifred Victoria Cosens were divorced in 1924.¹ He married, secondly, Edyth Cecilia Cowan, daughter of Lt.-Col. John Charles Cowan, on 7 December 1925.¹ He died on 28 May 1949 at age 63.¹
     He gained the rank of Temporary Lieutenant in the Royal Sussex Regiment.¹

     Winifred Victoria Cosens was the daughter of Frederick George Cosens.¹ She married Alec Francis Hervey, son of Francis Arthur Hervey and Louisa Maude Clayton, on 16 November 1912.¹ She and Alec Francis Hervey were divorced in 1924.¹ She died on 18 January 1963.¹
     Her married name became Hervey.

     Frederick George Cosens lived at Bacton, Norfolk, England^G.¹ He lived at Kensington, London, England^G.¹

     Edyth Cecilia Cowan was the daughter of Lt.-Col. John Charles Cowan.¹ She married, firstly, Alexander Lockington before 1925.¹ She married, secondly, Alec Francis Hervey, son of Francis Arthur Hervey and Louisa Maude Clayton, on 7 December 1925.¹ She died in 1987.¹
     From before 1925, her married name became Lockington.¹ Her married name became Hervey.
