     From before 1606, her married name became Chudleigh.¹

     Sir William Strode was born in 1562.² He was the son of Richard Strode and Frances Cromwell.² He married, firstly, Mary Southcote, daughter of Thomas Southcote.¹ He married, secondly, Dunes Vosper, daughter of Stephen Vosper, in 1624.² He died in 1637.²
     He lived at Newnham, Devon, England^G.¹ He lived at Newenden, Kent, England^G.³ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Devon in 1597.² He was appointed Knight in 1598.² He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Plympton Erle between 1601 and 1604.² He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Plymouth in 1614.² He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Plympton Erle in 1621.² He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Devon in 1624.² He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Plympton Erle in 1625.²

     Mary Southcote was the daughter of Thomas Southcote.¹ She married Sir William Strode, son of Richard Strode and Frances Cromwell.¹ She died in 1618.²
     Her married name became Strode.¹

     Felix Samuel Sancroft-Baker was born on 13 October 2022.¹ He is the son of Hugh Jasper Sancroft-Baker and Annabel Rose Henderson.¹

     John Chudleigh was born on 20 July 1606 at Plympton St. Mary, Devon, England^G.¹ He was the son of Sir George Chudleigh, 1st Bt. and Mary Strode.¹ He died before 1634, unmarried.¹ He died intestate and his estate was administered on 10 May 1634.¹
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for East Looe in 1626.¹

     Elizabeth Fortescue was baptised on 8 September 1616 at Petrockstowe, England^G.¹ She was the daughter of Hugh Fortescue and Mary Rolle.¹ She married Sir George Chudleigh, 2nd Bt., son of Sir George Chudleigh, 1st Bt. and Mary Strode, on 16 August 1637 at Wear Gifford, Devon, England^G.¹
     From 16 August 1637, her married name became Chudleigh.¹

     Colonel Robert Fortescue was born in 1617 at Filleigh, Devon, England^G.¹ He was the son of Hugh Fortescue.¹ He married, firstly, Grace Granville, daughter of Sir Bevil Granville and Grace Smith, on 20 February 1644 at Kilkhampton, Cornwall, England^G.¹ He married, secondly, Susanna Northcote, daughter of Sir John Northcote, 1st Bt. and Grace Halswell, on 5 January 1675 at Newton St. Cyres, Devon, England^G.¹ He died before 5 January 1676.¹

     Joanna Fortescue was born in 1618.¹ She was the daughter of Hugh Fortescue and Mary Rolle.¹
