     Oliver Simon Dicketts was born in 1979.1 He was the son of Robert A. I. Dicketts and Priscilla Susan Falkland.3,1 He died on 2 September 2006 at Kandahar, Afghanistan, killed in action in the crash of an RAF Nimrod.2
     He gained the rank of Corporal in the 1 Para, assigned to specialist duties with the Royal Air Force.2 He fought in the Afghan War.2
