     Francis Joseph Chapple, Baron Chapple was born on 8 August 1921 at London, England^G.^2,3 He was the son of Frank Chapple and Emily Rook.² He married, firstly, Joan Jeanette Nicholls in 1944.² He married, secondly, Phyllis Mary Luck, daughter of Wilfred Luck, in 1999.² He died on 19 October 2004 at age 83 at Maidstone, Kent, England^G.³

     George Augustus Brograve was born in 1797.¹ He was the son of Dr. John Rye and Anne Brograve.¹ He died in 1874.¹

     Eric Cyril Boyd Edwards, Baron Chelmer was born on 9 October 1914.² He was the son of Colonel Cyril Ernest Edwards and Jessie Boyd.² He married Enid Harvey, daughter of Frank W. Harvey, on 2 June 1939.² He died in March 1997 at age 82.

     Tufton Victor Hamilton Beamish, Baron Chelwood was born on 27 January 1917.³ He was the son of Rear-Adm. Tufton Percy Hamilton Beamish and Margaret Antonia Simon.³ He married, firstly, Janet McMillan Stevenson, daughter of Andrew Stevenson, on 15 December 1950.³ He and Janet McMillan Stevenson were divorced in 1973.³ He married, secondly, Pia Maria von Roretz on 2 May 1975.³ He died on 6 April 1989 at age 72.⁴

     G/Capt. Geoffrey Leonard Cheshire, Baron Cheshire usually went by his middle name of Leonard. He was awarded the Companion, Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) and two bars.³ He was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross (D.F.C.)¹ He was awarded the Victoria Cross (V.C.) on 4 September 1944, for his actions on 24 April l1944.⁵ He was awarded the Order of Merit (O.M.)¹ He was created Baron Cheshire, of Woodhall in the County of Lincolnshire [U.K. Life Peer] on 17 July 1991.¹

     Julia Elizabeth Brograve was born in 1835.¹ She was the daughter of George Augustus Brograve and Mary Hawker.¹ She married Francis Stanhope Long, son of John Long and Mary Daniel, on 21 November 1857 at Melcombe Regis, Dorset, England^G.¹ She died on 6 December 1905.¹
     From 21 November 1857, her married name became Long.¹
