     Sir William Webber Doveton was born on 23 November 1753 at St. Helena.1 He was the son of John Doveton and Mary Worral.1 He married Eleanore Beale, daughter of Onesiphorus Beale and Mary Twaites, in 1775 at St. Helena.1 He died on 13 October 1843 at age 89 at St. Helena.1 He was buried in October 1843 at St. Paul’s Cathedral Cemetery, St. Helena.1
     He was appointed Knight in 1808.1 He was Treasurer [St. Helena].1 He held the office of President of the Council [St. Helena].1

     Eleanore Beale was born on 22 July 1754 at St. Helena.1 She was the daughter of Onesiphorus Beale and Mary Twaites.1 She married Sir William Webber Doveton, son of John Doveton and Mary Worral, in 1775 at St. Helena.1 She died on 31 March 1807 at age 52 at St. Helena.1 She was buried in April 1807 at St. Paul’s Cathedral Cemetery, St. Helena.1
     From 1775, her married name became Doveton.1
