     Caroline Margaret Chapman is the daughter of William Chapman and Martha Louisa Vansittart.1 She married Sir Montagu Richard Chapman, 5th Bt., son of Sir Benjamin James Chapman, 4th Bt. and Maria Fetherstonhaugh, on 9 January 1894.1

     William Chapman was born on 4 November 1811.2 He was the son of Sir Thomas Chapman, 2nd Bt. and Margaret Anne Fetherstonhaugh.1 He married Martha Louisa Vansittart, daughter of Arthur Vansittart and Hon. Caroline Eden, on 14 July 1841.2 He was also reported to have been married on 4 August 1841.3 He died on 25 January 1889 at age 77.2
     He lived at South Hill, Delvin, County Westmeath, IrelandG.1

     Martha Louisa Vansittart is the daughter of Arthur Vansittart and Hon. Caroline Eden.1,2 She married William Chapman, son of Sir Thomas Chapman, 2nd Bt. and Margaret Anne Fetherstonhaugh, on 14 July 1841.3 She was also reported to have been married on 4 August 1841.2
     From 14 July 1841, her married name became Chapman.3
