     Robert Tighe was baptised on 7 May 1686.² He was the son of Richard Tighe.³ He married Mary Clements, daughter of Robert Clements and Elizabeth Sandford, in 1715.³ He died in 1766.³
     He lived at Michelstown, County Westmeath, Ireland^G.¹

     Anne Lowther was the daughter of John Lowther and Anne Billing.¹ She married Sir Benjamin Chapman, 1st Bt., son of Benjamin Chapman and Anne Tighe, circa 20 February 1776.¹ She died in 1801.¹
     From circa 20 February 1776, her married name became Chapman.¹

     John Lowther lived at Staffordstown, County Meath, Ireland^G.¹

     Sir Thomas Chapman, 2nd Bt. was born on 20 October 1756.¹ He was the son of Benjamin Chapman and Anne Tighe.¹ He married Margaret Anne Fetherstonhaugh, daughter of James Fetherstonhaugh and Margaret Steele, in 1808.¹ He died on 23 December 1837 at age 81.¹
     He was appointed Knight in December 1780.¹ He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Chapman, of St. Lucy’s, co. Westmeath [I., 1782] in July 1810.¹

     Margaret Anne Fetherstonhaugh was born circa 1788.¹ She was the daughter of James Fetherstonhaugh and Margaret Steele.¹ She married Sir Thomas Chapman, 2nd Bt., son of Benjamin Chapman and Anne Tighe, in 1808.¹ She died on 21 January 1871 at Killua Castle, County Westmeath, Ireland^G.¹
     From 1808, her married name became Chapman.¹

     James Fetherstonhaugh is the son of Thomas Fetherstonhaugh and Mary Nugent.² He married Margaret Steele, daughter of Sir Richard Steele, 1st Bt., in 1788.²
     He lived at Bracklyn Castle, County Westmeath, Ireland^G.¹ He held the office of High Sheriff of County Westmeath in 1784.²

     Margaret Steele is the daughter of Sir Richard Steele, 1st Bt.¹ She married James Fetherstonhaugh, son of Thomas Fetherstonhaugh and Mary Nugent, in 1788.²
     From 1788, her married name became Fetherstonhaugh.²

     Sir Richard Steele, 1st Bt. was created 1st Baronet Steele [Ireland] in 1768.¹

     Sir Montagu Lowther Chapman, 3rd Bt. was born on 10 December 1808.¹ He was the son of Sir Thomas Chapman, 2nd Bt. and Margaret Anne Fetherstonhaugh.¹ He died on 17 May 1853 at age 44, at sea near Australia, unmarried.¹
     He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G, in 1828 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for County Westmeath between 1830 and 1841.¹ He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Chapman, of St. Lucy’s, co. Westmeath [I., 1782] on 23 December 1837.¹ He held the office of Sheriff of County Westmeath in 1844.¹
