He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandG, in 1828 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for County Westmeath between 1830 and 1841.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Chapman, of St. Lucy’s, co. Westmeath [I., 1782] on 23 December 1837.1 He held the office of Sheriff of County Westmeath in 1844.1
