     Sir Eugene John Henry Vanderstegen Millington-Drake was the son of Henry Millington-Drake and Ellen Grangor Millington.1,2 He married Lady Effie Mackay, daughter of James Lyle Mackay, 1st Earl of Inchcape and Jean Paterson Shanks, on 20 January 1920.1 He died on 12 December 1972.1
     He was appointed Fellow, Royal Society of Arts (F.R.S.A.)1 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of St. Michael and St. George (K.C.M.G.)1
