     He was appointed Knight on 11 September 1617.¹ He held the office of High Sheriff of Sussex from 1626 to 1627.¹ He held the office of High Sheriff of Surrey from 1626 to 1627.¹ He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Vincent, of D’Abernon, co. Surrey [E., 1620] in 1640.¹

     Elizabeth Acland was born in 1596 at Killerton, Devon, England^G.¹ She was the daughter of Sir Arthur Acland and Eleanor Mallet.¹ She married Sir Anthony Vincent, 2nd Bt., son of Sir Francis Vincent, 1st Bt. and Sarah Paulet.² She married Thomas Waldegrave, son of Sir William Waldegrave and Jemima Bacon.³
     Her married name became Waldegrave.³ Her married name became Vincent.²

     Elizabeth Vane is the daughter of Rt. Hon. Sir Henry Vane the Elder and Frances d‘Arcy.¹ She married Sir Francis Vincent, 3rd Bt., son of Sir Anthony Vincent, 2nd Bt. and Elizabeth Acland.¹
     Her married name became Vincent.¹

     Margaret Harvey was born in 1525 at Hinton St. George, Somerset, England^G.² She was the daughter of Anthony Harvey.¹ She married Sir Amyas Paulet, son of Sir Hugh Paulet and Phillipa Pollard.¹
