     He lived at Smallbridge, Suffolk, England.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Sudbury between 1661 and 1677.¹

     Sir John Cordell, 3rd Bt. is the son of Sir John Cordell, 2nd Bt. and Elizabeth Waldegrave.¹
     He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Cordell [E., 1660] in 1690. He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Sudbury in 1701.¹

     Jane Kemp is the daughter of Sir Robert Kemp, 1st Bt. and Jane Browne.¹ She married Thomas Waldegrave, son of Sir William Waldegrave and Jemima Bacon.¹
