     Alexander Campbell, 3rd of Airds was born circa 1670.2 He was the son of John Campbell, 2nd of Airds and Isobel Campbell.1,2 He married Jean Campbell, daughter of Sir John Campbell of Glenorchy, 4th Bt. and Christian Muschet, after 13 May 1699.2 He died before 1734.1

     John Campbell, 2nd of Airds was born circa 1641.2 He was the son of George Campbell, 1st of Airds and Janet Campbell.1 He married Isobel Campbell, daughter of Colin Campbell, 5th of Lochnell and Anne Campbell.2 He died before 1711.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Army.1

     Margaret Maxwell Campbell was born circa 1776.2 She was the daughter of John Campbell of Lochend.2 She married John Campbell, 6th of Airds, son of Sir John Campbell, 5th of Airds and Jane Campbell, on 27 July 1803.1 She died on 19 August 1865 at Woolwich, Kent, EnglandG.2

     John Campbell, 3rd of Ardnamurchan was born on 27 November 1807.1 He was the son of John Campbell, 6th of Airds and Margaret Maxwell Campbell.1 He married Hannah Elizabeth Macleod, daughter of Lt.-Col. James MacLeod, 12th of Raasay and Flora Ann Maclean, on 21 November 1833.1 He died on 18 January 1853 at age 45 at Kingstown, St. VincentG.1 His will was proven (by probate) in August 1855.1
     He held the office of Lieutenant-Governor of St. Vincent between 1845 and 1853.1

     Sir James Campbell of Lawers was the son of Sir John Campbell of Lawers and Beatrix Campbell.2 A contract for the marriage of Sir James Campbell of Lawers and Jean Colville was signed on 23 June 1595.1 He died in January 1645.1

     Hannah Elizabeth Macleod was the daughter of Lt.-Col. James MacLeod, 12th of Raasay and Flora Ann Maclean.2 She married, firstly, John Campbell, 3rd of Ardnamurchan, son of John Campbell, 6th of Airds and Margaret Maxwell Campbell, on 21 November 1833.1 She married, secondly, Henry Maule after 1853.1 She died on 4 November 1873.1
     From 21 November 1833, her married name became Campbell.1 From after 1853, her married name became Maule.1
