     Rosanna Johnston was the daughter of Hugh Johnston.² She married William Cairns, son of Nathan Cairns and Margaret Keine, in 1806.¹ She died in 1822.¹
     From 1806, her married name became Cairns.

     Nathan Daniel Cairns was born in 1807.¹ He was the son of William Cairns and Rosanna Johnston.² He married Mary Miller, daughter of Thomas Miller, in 1839.¹ He died in 1844.¹
     He lived at Parkmount, County Antrim, Ireland^G.³
     He also had two other daughters.¹

     Thomas Miller lived at Preston, England^G.¹

     Mary Miller is the daughter of Thomas Miller.² She married Nathan Daniel Cairns, son of William Cairns and Rosanna Johnston, in 1839.¹
     From 1839, her married name became Cairns.

     William MacNeile Cairns was born in 1843.¹ He was the son of Nathan Daniel Cairns and Mary Miller.² He married Josephine Percy Bushe, daughter of Reverend Charles Bushe and Emmeline Katherine Egerton Coghill, on 1 July 1873.¹ He died on 29 January 1913.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 43rd Light Infantry.¹

     William Henry Hornby was born on 2 July 1805.¹ He was the son of John Hornby and Alice Backhouse.¹ He married Margaret Susannah Birley, daughter of Edward Birley, on 19 May 1831.¹ He died on 4 September 1884 at age 79.³
     He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)³ He held the office of Mayor of Blackburn.³ He was owner of the Brookhouse Cotton Mills.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹ He lived at Blackburn, Lancashire, England^G.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Blackburn between 1857 and 1869.³

     Josephine Percy Bushe is the daughter of Reverend Charles Bushe and Emmeline Katherine Egerton Coghill.^2,3 She married William MacNeile Cairns, son of Nathan Daniel Cairns and Mary Miller, on 1 July 1873.¹
     From 1 July 1873, her married name became Cairns.

     Katharine Maria Cairns was the daughter of Nathan Daniel Cairns and Mary Miller.² She died on 19 August 1908, unmarried.¹

     Rosanna Cairns was the daughter of Nathan Daniel Cairns and Mary Miller.² She married William Henry Coddington, son of Henry Barry Coddington and Maria Crawford, on 21 March 1866.³ She died on 31 May 1866.³
     From 21 March 1866, her married name became Coddington.

     William Henry Coddington was born on 19 June 1833.¹ He was the son of Henry Barry Coddington and Maria Crawford.² He married Rosanna Cairns, daughter of Nathan Daniel Cairns and Mary Miller, on 21 March 1866.¹ He died, without issue.¹
