     Sybil de Gournay Buxton was born in 1863.² She was the daughter of Charles Buxton and Emily Mary Holland.³ She married Sir George Stapylton Barnes, son of George Carnac Barnes and Margaret Diana Chetwynd-Stapylton, on 16 August 1887.¹ She died on 19 June 1955.¹
     From 16 August 1887, her married name became Barnes.

     George Carnac Barnes was born on 4 June 1818.² He married Margaret Diana Chetwynd-Stapylton, daughter of Major Henry Richard Chetwynd-Stapylton and Margaret Hammond, on 25 September 1856.³ He died on 13 May 1861 at age 42.³
     He held the office of Commissioner of Cis-Sutlej States, East Indies.³ He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)¹

     Ada Charlotte Douglas is the daughter of Captain William Grant Douglas and Elizabeth Inglis.² She married, firstly, Harris St. John Dick in 1886.¹ She married, secondly, Frederick Gray Maturin in 1892.¹
     From 1886, her married name became Dick.¹ From 1892, her married name became Maturin.¹

     Mary Louisa Douglas was the daughter of Captain William Grant Douglas and Elizabeth Inglis.¹ She married Colin Bent Phillip, son of John Phillip, on 17 January 1877.² She died in 1940, without issue.²

     Samuel Gurney Buxton was born on 1 November 1838.¹ He was the son of Sir Edward North Buxton, 2nd Bt. and Catherine Gurney.² He married, firstly, Louisa Caroline Hoare, daughter of John Gurney Hoare and Caroline Barclay, on 3 September 1861.¹ He married, secondly, Mary Anne Birkbeck, daughter of Henry Birkbeck, on 7 June 1886.¹ He died on 12 February 1909 at age 70.¹
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Norfolk.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Norfolk.¹ He held the office of Sheriff of Norfolk in 1891.¹ He lived at Catton Hall, Norfolk, England^G.¹

     John Gurney Hoare was born on 7 May 1810.² He was the son of Samuel Hoare and Louisa Gurney.³ He married Caroline Barclay, daughter of Charles Barclay and Anna Maria Kett, on 18 March 1837.² He died on 16 February 1875 at age 64.²
     He lived at Cliff House, Cromer, Norfolk, England^G.² He lived at Hampstead Heath House, London, England^G.²
