     He was the founder of Rishon le Zion and Zichron Yaacov.¹

     Mary Stuart is the daughter of Dr. John Stuart and Jane Okill.¹

     Ann Stuart is the daughter of Dr. John Stuart and Jane Okill.¹

     James Armand Edmond de Rothschild was born in 1878.¹ He was the son of Edmond James de Rothschild and Adelheid Rothschild.² He married Dorothy Mathilde Pinto, daughter of Eugene Pinto, in 1913.¹ He died on 7 May 1957.¹
     James Armand Edmond de Rothschild also went by the nick-name of Jimmy.² He was educated at Lycée Louis le Grand, France^G.¹ He was educated at Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G.² He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Fusiliers.¹ He fought in the First World War.² He was awarded the Distinguished Conduct Medal (D.C.M.)² He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Liberal) for the Isle of Ely between 1929 and 1945.² He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)¹ He held the office of Joint Parliamentary Secretary, Ministry of Supply in 1945.² He lived at Waddesdon Manor, Buckinghamshire, England^G, which he inherited from his cousin, Alice.¹

     Dorothy Mathilde Pinto is the daughter of Eugene Pinto.² She married James Armand Edmond de Rothschild, son of Edmond James de Rothschild and Adelheid Rothschild, in 1913.¹
     She was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.)¹ From 1913, her married name became de Rothschild.¹

     Maurice Edmond Charles de Rothschild was born in 1881.¹ He was the son of Edmond James de Rothschild and Adelheid Rothschild.² He married Noémi Claire Alice Palmyre Halphen in 1909.¹ He died in 1957.¹
     He held the office of French Senator, under the Third Republic.¹

     Noémi Claire Alice Palmyre Halphen married Maurice Edmond Charles de Rothschild, son of Edmond James de Rothschild and Adelheid Rothschild, in 1909.¹ She died in 1968.¹
     From 1909, her married name became de Rothschild.¹

     Edmond Adolphe Maurice Jules Jacques de Rothschild was born on 30 September 1926.¹ He was the son of Maurice Edmond Charles de Rothschild and Noémi Claire Alice Palmyre Halphen.² He married, firstly, Veselinka Vladova Gueorguieva in 1958.¹ He and Veselinka Vladova Gueorguieva were divorced before 1963.¹ He married, secondly, Nadine Nelly Jeannette L‘Hopitalier in 1963.¹ He died on 3 November 1997 at age 71.¹
     He was educated at Geneva University, Geneva, Switzerland^G.¹ He was founder of La Compagnie Financière in 1953.¹ He was a director of Banque Rothschild, Banque Privée Geneva and Château Clarke vineyard.² He was president of Israel General Bank Tel Aviv.² He was chairman of Isrop.² He was awarded the Commander, Order of Arts and Letters of France in 1990.² He was awarded the Chevalier, Ordre national de la Légion d’honneur in 1994.²

     Veselinka Vladova Gueorguieva married Edmond Adolphe Maurice Jules Jacques de Rothschild, son of Maurice Edmond Charles de Rothschild and Noémi Claire Alice Palmyre Halphen, in 1958.¹ She and Edmond Adolphe Maurice Jules Jacques de Rothschild were divorced before 1963.¹
     She was also known as Georgina Blanc.² From 1958, her married name became de Rothschild.¹
