     He held the office of Referee of Private Bills, House of Commons between 1866 and 1903.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1900.¹

     Adelheid Rothschild was born in 1853.¹ She was the daughter of Wilhelm Carl Rothschild and Hannah Mathilde Rothschild.² She married Edmond James de Rothschild, son of James Mayer de Rothschild and Betty Rothschild, in 1877.¹ She died in 1935.¹

     Alfred Erskine Bonham-Carter was born on 15 December 1880 at Kensington, London, England.^1,2 He was the son of Alfred Bonham-Carter and Mary Henrietta Norman.¹ He married Margaret Emily Malcolm, daughter of Colonel Edward Donald Malcolm, 16th of Poltalloch and Isabella Wyld Brown, on 27 June 1906.¹ He died on 8 February 1921 at age 40.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the King’s Royal Rifle Corps.¹

     Minna Caroline Rothschild was born in 1857.¹ She was the daughter of Wilhelm Carl Rothschild and Hannah Mathilde Rothschild.² She married Maximilian Benedikt Heyum Goldschmidt-Rothschild, son of Benedict Hayum Salomon Goldschmidt, in 1878.¹ She died in 1903.¹
     From 1878, her married name became Goldschmidt-Rothschild.¹

     Maximilian Benedikt Heyum Goldschmidt-Rothschild was the son of Benedict Hayum Salomon Goldschmidt.² He married Minna Caroline Rothschild, daughter of Wilhelm Carl Rothschild and Hannah Mathilde Rothschild, in 1878.¹ He died in 1940.¹
     He was given the name of Maximilian Benedikt Heyum Goldschmidt at birth.³

     Margaret Emily Malcolm was born on 7 December 1870.² She was the daughter of Colonel Edward Donald Malcolm, 16th of Poltalloch and Isabella Wyld Brown.¹ She married Alfred Erskine Bonham-Carter, son of Alfred Bonham-Carter and Mary Henrietta Norman, on 27 June 1906.¹ She died on 11 February 1952 at age 81.¹
     From 27 June 1906, her married name became Bonham-Carter.¹

     Isabella Wyld Brown was born in 1846 at Australia^G.² She was the daughter of John Wyld Brown and Mary Mackellar.^1,2 She married Colonel Edward Donald Malcolm, 16th of Poltalloch, son of John Malcolm, 14th of Poltalloch and Isabella Harriet Wingfield, on 17 July 1867.³ She died on 3 March 1927.¹
     From 17 July 1867, her married name became Malcolm.¹

     Rear-Admiral Sir Christopher Douglas Bonham-Carter was born on 3 November 1907.¹ He was the son of Alfred Erskine Bonham-Carter and Margaret Emily Malcolm.¹ He married Marion MacIntyre Hutchinson Taylor, daughter of Joseph MacIntyre Taylor, on 28 December 1931.¹ He died on 3 June 1975 at age 67.²

     Thomas Frederick Greenwood was born on 18 February 1909.¹ He was the son of Augustus Charles Greenwood and Constance Elfrida Thomson Dick.^2,3 He married Marjorie Mirabel Graham, daughter of Very Rev. George Frederick Graham and Mirabel Eileen Odlum, in January 1937.⁴ He died on 23 November 2002 at age 93 at South Wold Nursing Home, Tetford, Lincolnshire, England.³

     Sir Bernard Dudley Frank Docker was born in 1896.² He married, firstly, Jeanne Sweet, daughter of William James Sweet.¹ He married, secondly, Norah Royce Turner in 1949.² He died in 1978.²
