     Leonora de Rothschild was the daughter of Baron Lionel Nathan de Rothschild and Charlotte de Rothschild.2 She married Mayer Alphonse de Rothschild, son of James Mayer de Rothschild and Betty Rothschild, on 4 March 1857.2 She died on 6 January 1911.2

     Guy Edouard Alphonse Paul de Rothschild was born on 21 May 1909.1 He was the son of Edouard Alphonse James de Rothschild and Germaine Alice Halphen.2 He married, firstly, Alix Hermine Jeanette Schey von Koromla in 1937.1 He and Alix Hermine Jeanette Schey von Koromla were divorced before 1957.1 He married, secondly, Marie Hélène Naila Stephanie Josina van Zuylen van Nyevelt, daughter of Egmont Baron van Zuylen van Nyevelt, in 1957.1 He died on 12 June 2007 at age 98.3
     He was also known as Baron de Rothschild.1 He was educated at Lycées Condorcet et Louis le Grand, Facultés de Droit et des Lettres, France.1 He was with Associé de MM de Rothschild Frères between 1936 and 1967.1 He fought in the Second World War.2 He was awarded the Croix de Guerre.2 He was awarded the Chevalier du Mérite Agricole in 1948.2 He was president of the Compagnie du Chemin de Fer du Nord between 1949 and 1968.2 He was awarded the Officier, Ordre national de la Légion d’honneur in 1959.2 He was president of the Banque Rothschild between 1968 and 1978.2 He was president of the Societé Imétal between 1975 and 1979.2 He wrote the book The Whims of Fortune, published 1985.1 He lived in 2003 at 2 rue Saint-Louis-en-l’Isle, Paris, FranceG.1
