Sir Thomas Fleming1 
Sir Thomas Fleming was born in April 1544 at Newport, Isle of Wight, England.2 He was the son of John Fleming and Dorothy Harris.2 He married Mary James, daughter of Dr. Mark James, on 13 February 1570 at St. Thomas’ Church, Newport, Isle of Wight, England.2 He died on 7 August 1613 at age 69 at Stoneham Park, Hampshire, England.2
He was admitted to Lincoln’s Inn in 1574 entitled to practise as a barirster-at-law.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Kingston upon Hull between 1581 and 1584.2 He partipicated in an ordinance between 1584 and 1597; Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Wincheser.2 He held the office of Recorder of London in 1594.2 He held the office of Solicitor-General in 1595.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Hampshire between 1597 and 1601.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Southampton in 1601.2 He was appointed Knight on 23 July 1603.2 He held the office of Lord Chief Baron of the Exchequer between 1604 and 1607.2 He held the office of Lord Chief Justice of England in 1607.1,2

Wingfield Cromwell, 2nd Earl of Ardglass1 
He was educated at Stone School, Staffordshire, EnglandG.1 He matriculated at Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandG, on 20 March 1637/38.1 He was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Civil Laws (D.C.L.) by Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, in 1642.1 In April 1649 he was taken prisoner in the Royalist cause. He succeeded as the 2nd Earl of Ardglass [I., 1645] in 1653.1 He gained the title of 5th Baron Cromwell in 1653.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Viscount Lecale, in Ulster [I., 1624] in 1653.1

Charles Cotton1

Charles Cotton was born on 28 April 1630.1 He was the son of Charles Cotton and Olive Stanhope. He married, firstly, Isabella Hutchinson on 30 June 1656 at St. Mary’s, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, EnglandG.1 He married, secondly, Mary Russell, daughter of Sir William Russell, 1st Bt. and Frances Reade, between 1670 and 1675.1 He died circa February 1686/87. He died intestate and his estate was administered to granted to a creditor on 12 September 1687.1 He was buried on 16 February 1686/87 at St. James’s, Westminster, London, EnglandG.1
He lived at Beresford Hall, Staffordshire, EnglandG.1 He has an extensive biographical entry in the Dictionary of National Biography.3
