     Harmar Harmar-Nicholls, Baron Harmar-Nicholls was born on 1 November 1912.² He was the son of Charles Edward Craddock Nicholls and Sarah Anne Wesley.³ He married Dorothy Elsie Edwards, daughter of James Edwards, on 10 June 1940.² He died on 15 September 2000 at age 87.¹
     He was given the name of Harmar Nicholls at birth.² He was educated at Queen Mary’s Grammar School, Walsall, Staffordshire, England^G.² He fought in the Second World War, in India and Burma.² He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Engineers.² He was a director of J & H Nicholls (Paints) Ltd in 1945.² He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Staffordshire in 1946.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Conservative) for Peterborough between 1950 and 1974.² Between 1951 and 1955 Parliamentary Private Secretary.² He held the office of Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food between 1955 and 1957.² He held the office of Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Works between 1957 and 1960.² He was created 1st Baronet Nicholls, of Peterborough, co. Cambridge [U.K.] on 29 November 1960.² After 1970 his name was legally changed to Harmar Harmar-Nicholls. He was created Baron Harmar-Nicholls, of Peterborough in the County of Cambridgeshire [U.K. Life Peer] on 10 January 1975.¹ He held the office of Member of the European Assembly between 1979 and 1984.² He lived in 1999 at Abbeylands, Weston, Staffordshire, England^G.² On his death his baronetcy became extinct.⁴

     John Henry Harris, Baron Harris of Greenwich was born on 5 April 1930.² He was the son of Alfred George Harris and May (?)³ He married, firstly, Patricia Margaret Alstrom, daughter of George Neuby Alstrom, in 1952.² He and Patricia Margaret Alstrom were divorced in 1982.² He married, secondly, Angela Smith in 1983.² He died on 11 April 2001 at age 71.¹

     Jonathan Toby Harris, Baron Harris of Haringey was born on 11 October 1953.² He is the son of Harry Harris and Muriel Hargest.² He married Ann Sarah Herbert, daughter of Stepehn Austen Herbert, in 1979.²
     He was educated at Haberdasher’s Aske’s School, England^G.² He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)² He was member of Haringey Borough Council between 1978 and 2002.² He wrote the book Why Vote Labour?, published 1979.² He wrote the book Energy and Social Policy, published 1983.² He was appointed Fellow, Royal Society of Arts (F.R.S.A.) in 1993.² He was created Baron Harris of Haringey, of Hornsey in the London Borough of Haringey [U.K. Life Peer] on 5 August 1998.¹

     Ralph Harris, Baron Harris of High Cross was born on 10 December 1924 at Tottenham, London, England.^2,3 He was the son of William Henry Harris and Lilian M. Valle.^2,3 He married Jose Pauline Jeffery, daughter of Roger Frederick Jeffery, in 1949.² He died on 19 October 2006 at age 81.¹
     He was educated at Tottenham Grammar School, Tottenham, London, England^G.² He graduated from Queens’ College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)² He was a lecturer in political economy between 1949 and 1956 at St. Andrew’s University, St. Andrews, Fife, Scotland^G.² He wrote the book Politics Without Prejudice: a biography of R. A.      Philip Charles Harris, Baron Harris of Peckham was born on 15 September 1942.² He is the son of Charles William Harris and Ruth Ellen Ward.² He married Pauline Norma Chumley in 1960.²
     He was educated at Streatham Grammar School, Streatham, Surrey, England^G.² He was chairman of Harris Queensway plc between 1964 and 1988.² He was created Baron Harris of Peckham, of Peckham in the London Borough of Southwark [U.K. Life Peer] on 11 January 1996.¹

     Angela Felicity Richards, Baroness Harris of Richmond was born on 4 January 1944 at Fylde, Lancashire, England^G.² She is the daughter of Reverend George Hamilton Richards and Eva Lindley.² She married, firstly, Philip M. Bowles in 1965 at Howrich, Lancashire, England^G.² She married, secondly, John Philip Roger Harris in 1976 at Henley, Oxfordshire, England^G.²
     From 1965, her married name became Bowles.² From 1976, her married name became Harris.¹ She held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)¹ She was created Baroness Harris of Richmond, of Richmond in the County of Yorkshire [U.K. Life Peer] on 6 August 1999.¹

     Lyndon Henry Arthur Harrison, Baron Harrison was born on 28 September 1947.² He is the son of Charles William Harrison and Edith Johnson.² He married Hilary Anne Plank in 1980.²

     Garry Richard Rushby Hart, Baron Hart of Chilton was born on 29 June 1940 at Ipswich, Suffolk, England.² He was the son of Dennis Hart.² He married, firstly, Paula Shepherd in 1966.² He and Paula Shepherd were divorced in 1986.² He married, secondly, Valerie Davies in 1986.² He died on 3 August 2017 at age 77.²
     He was a practising solicitor in 1966.² He was Chancellor of the University of Greenwich.² He was created Baron Hart of Chilton, of Chilton in the County of Suffolk [U.K. Life Peer] on 4 June 2004.¹

     Dame Judith Constance Mary Hart, Baroness Hart of South Lanark died on 8 December 1991.¹

     Dugald Stuart, Lord Blairhall was the son of Sir Dugald Stuart of Ardmaleish, 2nd Bt. and Elizabeth Ruthven.¹ He married Mary Bruce, daughter of John Bruce and Jean Leslie.² He died in 1712.³
