Sir Edward Alfred John Harris and Emma Wylly Chambers.^3,1 She married Francis Henry James Baillie, son of Rt. Hon. Colonel Henry James Baillie and Hon. Philippa Eliza Sydney Smythe, on 1 September 1877.¹ She died on 13 April 1911.¹
     From 1 September 1877, her married name became Baillie.¹

     Alice Mary Harris was the daughter of Admiral Hon. Sir Edward Alfred John Harris and Emma Wylly Chambers.¹ She married Colonel Henry Robert Eyre on 7 April 1900.¹ She died on 6 April 1940, without issue.¹
     From 7 April 1900, her married name became Eyre.¹

     George John Baillie was the son of Rt. Hon. Colonel Henry James Baillie and Hon. Philippa Eliza Sydney Smythe.¹ He died in 1872.¹

     Rt. Hon. Sir Robert Grant was born on 15 January 1780 at Kidderpore, West Bengal, India^G.² He was the son of Charles Grant and Jane Fraser.² He married Margaret Davidson, daughter of Sir David Davidson, on 11 August 1829.² He died on 9 July 1838 at age 58.²
     He graduated from Magdalene College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1801 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)² He graduated from Magdalene College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1804 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)² He was admitted to Lincoln’s Inn in 1807 entitled to practise as a barrister-at-law.² He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Elgin between 1818 and 1826.² He wrote the book A Sketch of the History of the East India Company to 1773.² He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Inverness between 1826 and 1830.² He was Commissioner of the Board of Control in 1830.² He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Norwich between 1830 and 1832.² He held the office of Judge Advocate-General in 1832.² He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Finsbury between 1832 and 1834.² He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Hanoverian Order (G.C.H.) in 1834.² He held the office of Governor of Bombay between 1834 and 1838.²

     Clarissa Rush is the daughter of George Rush.¹ She married Rt. Hon. Colonel Henry James Baillie, son of Colonel Hugh Duncan Baillie and Elizabeth Reynett, in 1857.¹
     From 1857, her married name became Baillie.¹

Anthony William Ashley-Cooper, son of Cropley Ashley-Cooper, 6th Earl of Shaftesbury and Lady Anne Spencer, on 8 March 1831.¹ She died on 10 January 1891 at age 81.³
