     Katherine Elizabeth Freebairn was the daughter of William Freebairn.¹ She married Alexander Fairlie Bruce, son of George Cadell Bruce and Roberta Cadell, on 26 December 1882.¹ She died on 14 January 1931.¹
     From 26 December 1882, her married name became Bruce.

     Lt.-Cdr. Alan Cathcart Fairlie Bruce was born on 2 March 1894.¹ He was the son of Alexander Fairlie Bruce and Katherine Elizabeth Freebairn.¹ He married Barbara Clarributt Skinner, daughter of E. Clarributt Skinner, on 28 June 1919.¹ He died on 10 October 1927 at age 33.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Commander in the Royal Navy.¹

     Barbara Clarributt Skinner was the daughter of E. Clarributt Skinner.¹ She married Lt.-Cdr. Alan Cathcart Fairlie Bruce, son of Alexander Fairlie Bruce and Katherine Elizabeth Freebairn, on 28 June 1919.¹ She died in 1992.¹
     From 28 June 1919, her married name became Bruce.

     Colin Michael Fairlie Bruce was born on 16 February 1925.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Cdr. Alan Cathcart Fairlie Bruce and Barbara Clarributt Skinner.¹ He married, firstly, Patricia Mary Platt on 7 October 1946.¹ He and Patricia Mary Platt were divorced in 1962.¹ He married, secondly, Georgina Morrison Baker on 31 January 1963.¹ He died on 4 March 2000 at age 75.¹
     He was educated at Christ’s Hospital, Reading, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He gained the rank of Sub-Lieutenant in the Royal Navy Volunteer Reserve.¹ He was educated at University of Edinburgh, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland^G.¹ He graduated from Wadham College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He was a lecturer in economics between 1950 and 1953 at Natal University, Natal, South Africa^G.¹ He was an economics advisor to the Maltese Government between 1953 and 1957.¹ He was an economics advisor for Dowty Group between 1957 and 1958.¹ He was Secretary of the Malta Industrial Development Board and London Manager of Malta Aids to Industries Board between 1959 and 1961.¹ He was economics advisor to the Uganda Development Corporation
between 1962 and 1963.¹ He was Director of Economic Planning and Developement for Uganda between 1963 and 1965.¹ He was with the World Bank between 1965 and 1984.¹

     Patricia Mary Platt married Colin Michael Fairlie Bruce, son of Lt.-Cdr. Alan Cathcart Fairlie Bruce and Barbara Clarributt Skinner, on 7 October 1946.¹ She and Colin Michael Fairlie Bruce were divorced in 1962.¹
     From 7 October 1946, her married name became Bruce.¹

     Timothy Michael Fairlie Bruce was born on 17 February 1948.¹ He is the son of Colin Michael Fairlie Bruce and Patricia Mary Platt.¹ He married Kate Ella Armpriester in 1978.¹
     He lived in 2003 at 400 Knecht Drive, Dayton, Ohio, U.S.A.^G.¹
