     Major Michael Henry Marsham, 7th Earl of Romney was born on 22 November 1910 at Norfolk, England.^1,2 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Hon. Reginald Hastings Marsham and Dora Hermione North.³ He married Frances Aileen Landale, daughter of Captain James Russell Landale and Lilian Constance Sheila Walker, on 28 June 1939.¹ He died on 5 June 2004 at age 93 at Norfolk, England.^4,2
     He was educated at Sherborne School, Sherborne, Dorset, England.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Artillery (TA.)¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He succeeded as the 7th Viscount Marsham [U.K., 1801] on 6 September 1975.³ He succeeded as the 7th Earl of Romney, of the Mote [U.K., 1801] on 6 September 1975.³ He succeeded as the 9th Baron of Romney, co. Kent [G.B., 1716] on 6 September 1975.³ He succeeded as the 13th Baronet Marsham, of Whorn’s Place, Cuxton, Kent [E., 1663] on 6 September 1975.³

     Frances Aileen Landale was the daughter of Captain James Russell Landale and Lilian Constance Sheila Walker.² She married Major Michael Henry Marsham, 7th Earl of Romney, son of Lt.-Col. Hon. Reginald Hastings Marsham and Dora Hermione North, on 28 June 1939.¹ She died on 2 October 1995.¹
     Her married name became Marsham. After her marriage, Frances Aileen Landale was styled as Countess of Romney on 6 September 1975.

     Captain James Russell Landale was born in 1882 at India.^1,2 He was the son of James Landale and Harriette Rosa Macintire.² He married Lilian Constance Sheila Walker, daughter of Sir George Casson Walker and Fanny Coates, on 28 February 1911 at Chadderghaut, Madras, India.² He died on 8 March 1915 at Basra, Iraq^G, while on active duty.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 2nd Queen Victoria’s Own Rajput Light Infantry.¹

     Anna Rhoda Marsham was born on 7 June 1909.¹ She was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Hon. Reginald Hastings Marsham and Dora Hermione North.¹ She died on 13 March 1999 at age 89.¹
     She gained the rank of Section Officer in the Women’s Auxiliary Air Force.¹ She was with the Kenya Police Reserve Officer during the Emergency between 1953 and 1954.¹ She was District Pass Officer, Molo between 1956 and 1960.¹

     Julian Charles Marsham, 8th Earl of Romney was born on 28 March 1948.² He is the son of Lt.-Col. Peter William Marsham and Hersey Coke.² He married Catriona Ann Stewart, daughter of Colonel Sir Robert Christie Stewart and Ann Grizel Cochrane, on 6 September 1975.²
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.² He lived in 2003 at Gayton Hall, King’s Lynn, Norfolk, England.² He succeeded as the 8th Viscount Marsham [U.K., 1801] on 5 June 2004. He succeeded as the 8th Earl of Romney, of the Mote [U.K., 1801] on 5 June 2004.¹ He succeeded as the 14th Baronet Marsham, of Whorn’s Place, Cuxton, Kent [E., 1663] on 5 June 2004. He succeeded as the 10th Baron of Romney, co. Kent [G.B., 1716] on 5 June 2004.

     Lady Lavinia Marsham was born on 6 February 1950.² She is the daughter of Lt.-Col. Peter William Marsham and Hersey Coke.^2,1 She married Simon James Macdonald Lockhart, son of Simon Foster Macdonald Lockhart, 25th of the Lee and Ella Catriona Gordon, on 7 September 1973.¹
     From 7 September 1973, her married name became Macdonald Lockhart.¹ She lived in 2003 at Thornton Hill, Fossoway, Kinross-shire, Scotland.² On 26 June 2006 she was granted the rank of an earl’s daughter.³

     Charles Bernard Maxwell Ward was born in 1986.¹ He is the son of Maxwell Colin Bernard Ward and Lady Sarah Marsham.¹

     Davinia Marsham was born on 13 February 1956.¹ She was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Peter William Marsham and Hersey Coke.¹ She died on 22 May 1956.¹

     Sir Henry Pierrepont was the son of Sir George Pierrepont and Winifred Thwaites.² He married Frances Cavendish, daughter of Rt. Hon. Sir William Cavendish and Elizabeth Hardwicke.³ He died on 19 March 1616.⁴
     He was appointed Knight, Order of the Garter (K.G.)¹ He lived at Holme Pierrepont, Nottinghamshire, England^G.⁵

     Elizabeth Manners was the daughter of Sir George Manners and Grace Pierrepont.¹ She married Robert Sutton, 1st Baron Lexinton of Aram, son of Sir William Sutton and Susan Cony, in 1616.¹
     Her married name became Sutton.
