Colonel Robert Lyle McClintock1 
Colonel Robert Lyle McClintock was born on 26 March 1874.1 He married Jennie Casson Walker, daughter of Sir George Casson Walker and Fanny Coates, on 11 November 1908.1 He died in 1943.1
He was educated at Wellington College, Crowthorne, Berkshire, England.1 He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant on 25 July 1893 in the Royal Engineers.1 He fought in the Niger Expeditionary Force between 1897 and 1898.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant on 25 July 1898.1 He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1902.1 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) on 19 April 1901.1 He fought in the First World War.1 He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.) in 1916.1 He gained the rank of Brevet Lieutenant-Colonel on 1 January 1917.1
