Thomas Thatcher1,2 
He emigrated to New ZealandG arriving on circa 1870.1 He and William Lingard were co-founder of a brewery, which failed in 1878 at Wanganui, New Zealand.3 He founded Atlas Preservatives, originally a sheep dip and weed killer manufacturer.1 In 1898 he returned to England to set up a branch of Atlas Preservatives at Deptford.2
