     Brig.-Gen. Cyril Randell Crofton was born on 27 March 1867.² He was the son of Reverend William Arthur Crofton-Atkins and Charlotte Anne Rosalie Coles.² He married Ruth Josephine Emily Evans, daughter of Arthur Henry Lyne Evans, on 11 July 1905.² He died on 30 November 1941 at age 74.²
     He was given the name of Cyril Randell Crofton-Atkins at birth.¹ He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1902, where he was mentioned in despatches three times.² He gained the rank of Brevet Major.² He fought in the First World War between 1914 and 1918, where he was wounded in 1915.² He gained the rank of Lieutenant_Colonel in 1915 in the 2nd Battalion, Sherwood Foresters.² He was Brigadier-General of the 9th (Scottish) Yeomanry Cavalry Brigade in 1916.² He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.)³ On 27 October 1936 his name was legally changed to Cyril Randell Crofton by Deed Poll.² He lived at Trobridge, Crediton, Devon, England^G.²

     Elsa Maria Nissim was born on 2 January 1908 at Florence, Italy^G.² She was the daughter of Giacomo Nissim.¹ She married Lt.-Col. Peter Heber-Percy, son of Alan William Heber-Percy and Hon. Susan Alice Portman, in 1947.¹ She died in 1996.¹
     Her married name became Heber-Percy.

     G/Capt. John Heber-Percy was born on 18 March 1910.¹ He was the son of Alan William Heber-Percy and Hon. Susan Alice Portman.¹ He married, firstly, Eve Robertson, daughter of E. R. Robertson, on 1 October 1940.¹ He and Eve Robertson were divorced in 1949.¹ He married, secondly, Marie Elsie de Mattos, daughter of Jonkheer François Edouard Teixeira de Mattos, on 6 April 1950.¹ He died on 20 August 1975 at age 65 at Dalkey, County Dublin, Ireland.^2,3
     He was educated at Wellington College, Crowthorne, Berkshire, England.¹ He was Aide-de-Camp to the High Commissioner, Egypt.¹ He fought in the Second World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.¹ He gained the rank of Group Captain between 1939 and 1941 in the Royal Air Force.¹ He was Air Attache between 1947 and 1948 at The Hague, The Netherlands.¹

     Eve Robertson was born circa 1921.² She was the daughter of E. R. Robertson.¹ She married G/Capt. John Heber-Percy, son of Alan William Heber-Percy and Hon. Susan Alice Portman, on 1 October 1940.¹ She and G/Capt. John Heber-Percy were divorced in 1949.¹ She died on 5 August 2003.²
     Her married name became Heber-Percy.

     E. R. Robertson lived at Ilkley, Yorkshire, England^G.¹

     Marie Elsie de Mattos was the daughter of Jonkheer François Edouard Teixeira de Mattos.¹ She married G/Capt. John Heber-Percy, son of Alan William Heber-Percy and Hon. Susan Alice Portman, on 6 April 1950.²
     Her married name became Heber-Percy.

     Jonkheer François Edouard Teixeira de Mattos lived at The Hague, The Netherlands.¹

     Margaret Eleanor Heber-Percy was born on 9 August 1894.¹ She was the daughter of Alan William Heber-Percy and Hon. Susan Alice Portman.² She married Edward Paget Scholfield, son of Robert Stanley Scholfield, on 14 January 1920.¹ She died on 9 February 1963 at age 68.¹
     From 14 January 1920, her married name became Scholfield.³ She held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹ She was awarded the British Empire Medal (B.E.M.) in 1957.¹
