     Lt.-Gen. Sir Francis John Davies was born in 1864. He was the son of Henry Fanshawe Davies and Ellen Christine Alexander Hankey.³ He married Magdalen Augusta Lavinia Scott, daughter of Hugh Scott, 9th of Gala and Elizabeth Isabella Johnstone-Gordon, on 29 January 1898.¹ He died on 18 March 1948.¹
     He was appointed Knight Commander, Royal Victorian Order (K.C.V.O.)⁴ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-General in the Grenadier Guards.¹ He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of St. Michael and St. George (K.C.M.G.)⁴ He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.)⁴ He lived at Elmley Castle, Pershore, Worcestershire, England^G.⁴

     Augusta Louisa Ward was the daughter of Arthur Wellesley Ward.¹ She married Hon. Reginald Thomas Dudley Brougham, son of William Brougham, 2nd Baron Brougham and Vaux and Emily Frances Taylor, on 25 February 1884.¹ She and Hon. Reginald Thomas Dudley Brougham were divorced in 1900.¹ She died in May 1902.¹
     From 25 February 1884, her married name became Brougham.¹

     Hon. Alice Eleanora Brougham was the daughter of William Brougham, 2nd Baron Brougham and Vaux and Emily Frances Taylor.¹ She married Rev. Hon. Thomas Edwardes, son of William Edwardes, 2nd Baron Kensington and Dorothy Patricia Thomas, on 30 November 1863.¹ She died on 19 October 1924, leaving issue.¹
     From 30 November 1863, her married name became Edwardes.¹

     Rev. Hon. Thomas Edwardes was born on 24 October 1819.² He was the son of William Edwardes, 2nd Baron Kensington and Dorothy Patricia Thomas.¹ He married Hon. Alice Eleanora Brougham, daughter of William Brougham, 2nd Baron Brougham and Vaux and Emily Frances Taylor, on 30 November 1863.¹ He died on 3 December 1896 at age 77.²
     He graduated from Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)² He was Rector at Belshford, Lincolnshire, England.²

     Hon. Emily Evelyn Brougham was the daughter of William Brougham, 2nd Baron Brougham and Vaux and Emily Frances Taylor.¹ She married Captain Francis Sandys Dugmore, son of William Dugmore, on 23 April 1867.¹ She died on 13 November 1919, leaving issue.¹
     From 23 April 1867, her married name became Dugmore.¹

     Captain Francis Sandys Dugmore was the son of William Dugmore.¹ He married Hon. Emily Evelyn Brougham, daughter of William Brougham, 2nd Baron Brougham and Vaux and Emily Frances Taylor, on 23 April 1867.¹ He died on 10 November 1898.¹

     William Dugmore was appointed Queen’s Counsel (Q.C.)¹

     Hon. Adela Mary Grenville Brougham was the daughter of William Brougham, 2nd Baron Brougham and Vaux and Emily Frances Taylor.¹ She married Sir Charles Archer Cook, son of Silas Kemball Cook, on 20 April 1885.¹ She died on 29 June 1933.¹
     From 20 April 1885, her married name became Cook.¹

     Sir Charles Archer Cook was the son of Silas Kemball Cook.¹ He married Hon. Adela Mary Grenville Brougham, daughter of William Brougham, 2nd Baron Brougham and Vaux and Emily Frances Taylor, on 20 April 1885.¹ He died on 14 December 1934.¹
     He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.)¹ He was a practising barrister.¹
