     Major Victor Reginald Brooke was born on 22 January 1873.¹ He was the son of Sir Victor Alexander Brooke, 3rd Bt. and Alice Sophia Bellingham.¹ He died on 29 August 1914 at age 41, killed in action.¹
     He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1902, where he was wounded and mentioned in despatches twice.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the 9th Lancers.¹ He fought in the Kabul Mission in 1904.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of the Indian Empire (C.I.E.)¹ He fought in the First World War.¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)¹

     Alice Mildred Brooke was born on 4 March 1875.¹ She was the daughter of Sir Victor Alexander Brooke, 3rd Bt. and Alice Sophia Bellingham.¹ She married Lt.-Col. James Ramsay Campbell, son of George Ramsay Campbell and Lucy Lindsey, on 28 September 1896.¹ She died on 13 November 1914 at age 39.¹
     From 28 September 1896, her married name became Campbell.¹

     Lt.-Col. James Ramsay Campbell was born on 23 April 1855.² He was the son of George Ramsay Campbell and Lucy Lindsey.² He married Alice Mildred Brooke, daughter of Sir Victor Alexander Brooke, 3rd Bt. and Alice Sophia Bellingham, on 28 September 1896.¹ He died on 12 January 1924 at age 68, without issue.²
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Shropshire Light Infantry.² He lived at Ardachy, Fort Augustus, Inverness-shire, Scotland^G.²

     Hylda Henrietta Brooke was born on 22 February 1879.¹ She was the daughter of Sir Victor Alexander Brooke, 3rd Bt. and Alice Sophia Bellingham.¹ She married, firstly, Sir Frederick Henry Arthur Des Voeux, 7th Bt., son of Sir Charles Champagné Des Voeux, 6th Bt., on 5 July 1899.¹ She married, secondly, Sir John Evelyn Leslie Wrench, son of Rt. Hon. Frederick Stringer Wrench, on 18 May 1937.¹
     From 5 July 1899, her married name became Des Voeux.¹ From 18 May 1937, her married name became Wrench.¹

     Sir John Evelyn Leslie Wrench was the son of Rt. Hon. Frederick Stringer Wrench.¹ He married Hylda Henrietta Brooke, daughter of Sir Victor Alexander Brooke, 3rd Bt. and Alice Sophia Bellingham, on 18 May 1937.¹ He died on 11 November 1966.¹
     He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of St. Michael and St. George (K.C.M.G.)¹ He was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Law (LL.D.)¹ Sir John Evelyn Leslie Wrench usually went by his middle name of Evelyn.¹

     Gertrude Isabella Batson was the daughter of Stanlake Batson.¹ She married Sir Arthur Douglas Brooke, 4th Bt., son of Sir Victor Alexander Brooke, 3rd Bt. and Alice Sophia Bellingham, on 28 July 1887. She died on 29 September 1918.¹
     From 28 July 1887, her married name became Brooke.¹

     Stanlake Batson lived at Horseheath, Cambridgeshire, England^G.¹

     Victor Mervyn Brooke was born on 8 June 1893.¹ He was the son of Sir Arthur Douglas Brooke, 4th Bt. and Gertrude Isabella Batson.¹ He died on 29 March 1919 at age 25.¹

     S/Ldr. Arthur Francis Brooke was born on 24 September 1896.¹ He was the son of Sir Arthur Douglas Brooke, 4th Bt. and Gertrude Isabella Batson.¹ He married Lilian Maude Irwin, daughter of Charles Butler Irwin, on 9 October 1919.¹ He died on 17 November 1949 at age 53, without issue.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 10th Hussars.¹ He fought in the First World War, where he was wounded.¹ He gained the rank of Squadron Leader in the Royal Air Force.¹ He fought in the Waziristan Campaign in 1920.¹

     Lilian Maude Irwin is the daughter of Charles Butler Irwin.¹ She married S/Ldr. Arthur Francis Brooke, son of Sir Arthur Douglas Brooke, 4th Bt. and Gertrude Isabella Batson, on 9 October 1919.¹
     From 9 October 1919, her married name became Brooke.¹
