     From 27 April 1859, her married name became Duff.¹

     Mildred Blanche Duff was born on 26 January 1860 at London, England^G.¹ She was the daughter of Major James Duff and Mary Laura Dawkins.¹ She died on 8 December 1932 at age 72.¹

     Beatrice Duff was born on 11 March 1861.¹ She was the daughter of Major James Duff and Mary Laura Dawkins.¹ She died on 8 February 1863 at age 1.¹

     Granville John Berney Duff was born on 5 June 1869 at Westwick, Norfolk, England^G.¹ He was the son of Major James Duff and Mary Laura Dawkins.¹ He married, firstly, Rangiamohia Te Herekiekie on 11 July 1899.² He married, secondly, Lilian Mary Petrie, daughter of William Witon Petrie, on 15 February 1922 at St. George Hanover Square, London, England^G.² He died on 27 April 1936 at age 66.²
     He gained the rank of Major in the Norfolk Regiment, attached to the Royal Field Artillery.² He fought in the First World War.² He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)²

     From 21 June 1826, her married name became Hewett.

     He fought in the Battle of Waterloo.² He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Rifle Brigade.¹

     Anne Duff was born circa 1807.² She was the daughter of General Sir James Duff and Basilia Dawes.^2,3 She married Reverend Philip Hewett, son of General Sir George Hewett, 1st Bt. and Julia Johnson, on 10 December 1828.¹ She died on 22 November 1898.¹
     From 10 December 1828, her married name became Hewett.
