Granville John Berney Duff1 
Granville John Berney Duff was born on 5 June 1869 at Westwick, Norfolk, EnglandG.1 He was the son of Major James Duff and Mary Laura Dawkins.1 He married, firstly, Rangiamohia Te Herekiekie on 11 July 1899.2 He married, secondly, Lilian Mary Petrie, daughter of William Witon Petrie, on 15 February 1922 at St. George Hanover Square, London, EnglandG.2 He died on 27 April 1936 at age 66.2
He gained the rank of Major in the Norfolk Regiment, attached to the Royal Field Artillery.2 He fought in the First World War.2 He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)2
