     Elizabeth Frances Bromhead was the daughter of Major Sir Edmund Gonville Bromhead, 3rd Bt. and Judith Christine Wood.¹ She married Evelyn Pocklington, son of Reverend Roger Pocklington, on 5 September 1870.¹ She died on 10 October 1921, leaving issue.¹
     From 5 September 1870, her married name became Pocklington.¹

     Evelyn Pocklington was the son of Reverend Roger Pocklington.¹ He married Elizabeth Frances Bromhead, daughter of Major Sir Edmund Gonville Bromhead, 3rd Bt. and Judith Christine Wood, on 5 September 1870.¹ He died in 1911.¹
     He lived at Wimbledon, Surrey, England^G.¹ He was registered as a Member, Royal College of Surgeons (M.R.C.S.)¹

     Emily May Hosking was the daughter of Edward Hosking.¹ She married Major Edward Gonville Bromhead, son of Colonel Sir Benjamin Parnell Bromhead, 4th Bt. and Hannah Smith, on 8 November 1897. She died on 22 November 1956.¹
     From 8 November 1897, her married name became Bromhead.¹

     Edward Hosking was in the Indian Civil Service.¹

     Lt.-Col. Edmund de Gonville Hosking Bromhead was born on 23 August 1903.¹ He was the son of Major Edward Gonville Bromhead and Emily May Hosking.¹ He married Joan Winifred Scott, daughter of Brigadier Sir Henry Lawrence Scott, on 24 August 1938.¹ He died on 5 December 1976 at age 73 at Bournemouth, Dorset, England.^1,2
     He fought in the North-West Frontier in 1930.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Indian Army.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹

     Joan Winifred Scott is the daughter of Brigadier Sir Henry Lawrence Scott.¹ She married Lt.-Col. Edmund de Gonville Hosking Bromhead, son of Major Edward Gonville Bromhead and Emily May Hosking, on 24 August 1938.¹
     From 24 August 1938, her married name became Bromhead.¹ She lived in 2003 at 12 Market Square, Bicester, Oxfordshire, England^G.¹

     Brigadier Sir Henry Lawrence Scott was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)¹ He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)¹ He gained the rank of Brigadier in the Indian Army.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)¹

     John Edmund de Gonville Bromhead was born on 10 October 1939.¹ He is the son of Lt.-Col. Edmund de Gonville Hosking Bromhead and Joan Winifred Scott.¹ He married Janet Frances Brotherton, daughter of Harry Vernon Brotherton, on 17 April 1965.¹
     He was educated at St. Andrew’s College, Grahamstown, Cape Province, South Africa^G.¹ He was educated at Royal Air Force College, Cranwell, Lincolnshire, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Pilot Officer in the Royal Air Force.¹ He retired from the military in 1964.¹ He was a Captain with British Airways.¹ He lived in 2003 at 17 Turnstone Green, Langford Village, Bicester, Oxfordshire, England^G.¹

     Janet Frances Brotherton is the daughter of Harry Vernon Brotherton.¹ She married John Edmund de Gonville Bromhead, son of Lt.-Col. Edmund de Gonville Hosking Bromhead and Joan Winifred Scott, on 17 April 1965.¹
